I've owned this property for nearly 20 years and was given absolutely no choice to determine when the fence was going to be put up, who was going to put it up, the style of fence, lattice, etc. They installed the aesthetically flawed sides of the boards on my side, left over debris on my side, exposed nails attaching the boards to the posts, and exposed concrete at every post.
