But, after you enter wearing your mask, they give you gloves to wear. Each room has an air purifier with ultraviolet light. A standard cleaning involves a little bit extra work than before. You're first given a sealed container of mouthwash, since this will get rid of any bacteria on the surface before they begin. They stopped using a spit sink a long time ago, so they use suction to extract the mouthwash when you are done. Since it had been a while (too long!) since my last checkup, they also took X-rays, which are always more involved here than at other places. Instead of the standard 360 X-ray, they also do targeted X-rays of your teeth from various angles. Then, they did an inspection of the gumline around each tooth, and gave it a rating from 1 to 5. Three spots were checked on the front and three spots were checked on the back of each tooth. As you can imagine, the appointments take quite a long time. But, they're worth it. They find cavities as they are forming, so they can be monitored for future work. And the technology that they employ, plus the expertise of their people, means that they don't miss anything. And, everything is handled very professionally, and the people here are also very friendly. They are the gold standard for dentist offices.

I got all 4 wisdom teeth removed in one go, and it could not have gone better imo. I basically had no pain afterwards, but made sure to follow their care instructions they had provided. The consultation is the tough part, they're usually booked up, but once you get through that, they have plenty of dates for the actual surgery. The entire staff was very sweet, and got things done pretty quickly. I really appreciated two things - that they went through everything with you, and that they are very professional and do things quickly so you aren't stuck waiting too long. I really loved that during the consultation and after the surgery, they went over everything, so I wasn't worried at home. It's also super convenient that when you call, they have an extension just for pre- and post-op questions. I left a message once and they got back to me within a few hours. Cannot recommend them enough, can't explain what a relief it was to have such a phenomenal experience!

I went into this appointment with an infection so far advanced that I was considering going to the ER for an IV of antibiotics because my body wasn't responding to the oral ones I was giving several days earlier & the progression of my infection was progressively worsening by the hour. I have had very few pleasant experiences with dentists over the years, however; I left my appointment feeling nothing less than satisfied with not only the quality of care I had just received, but also relieved I had finally found a dentistry that gives me a sense of comfort about putting my dental health in their hands. Every single one of the staff members was not only pleasant to work with but they went above and beyond to reassure me I was in good hands. This was by far the most pleasant experience I have ever experienced while visiting a dentist in my 30 years on Earth. I wish I remembered my dentists & his assistants name but it i unfortunately cannot at this time. If either of you are reading this, thank you for taking such great care of me in a time of worry, pain and just overall misery.
