my fiancée and I schedule a time to go in. she was to try on dresses to find her dress and the…read moregroomsman were to get measurements. he had asked them if we had to pay a deposit and they told us over the phone that we did not. i had told one of the staff that we were not sure about what we wanted for tux's and would want to talk about them. after we had got measured the lady starting asking my groomsman for deposits without talking to me first. these deposits were non-refundable took $100 in deposits before I could say something. They had also told my fiancée that if she did not get a deposit on the dress that she picked she would not be able to get that dress. even though the lady said they had to order it to come in. They were deceitful and dishonest and communicating with us and use predatory sales practices people to make purchases right then I would highly recommend not doing business with this company. if still intend to use this company for purchases, ensure that you ask every question about the cost and of each item before making any

Even though the recent refurbishing has limited the number of dresses they have on-hand and even complicated dressing room arrangements a bit, I was impressed with how the staff made-do with what they had. I accompanied my boyfriend's mother, daughter and friend to a dress fitting and was thoroughly impressed by the quality of the dresses presented to us. Susan, the owner of this up-and-coming bridal store, was equally helpful and unobtrusive. She and her assistant presented several dress options and ideas with accompanying accessories (i.e. belts and brooches). Offering lighthearted jokes and sincere compliments to our bride-to-be, the staff was truly a joy to be around throughout the entire appointment. From my understanding, the clientele list is a bit exclusive, but once you're in, you have a wonderful and jovial staff to help you during this very special shopping trip. The stylist that I worked with was patient and easy to talk to. She was understanding and sweet when I voiced my concerns about finding a dress for my body type, and I never felt pressured to make a purchase. The selection of dresses was great. I didn't see many dresses that looked overly traditional or boring, which were things I wanted to avoid. Their dresses are bohemian but also elegant and beautiful. In the end I found a dress that I couldn't live with out!

This is a family-run business that has plenty of space to look around and see all they have to offer. They have a wide selection of styles, fabrics, and lengths and we're very friendly and helpful with narrowing down the choices that we were looking for. There are a range of prices and discounts on some of the gowns that were a steal! The boutique is broken up into sections along with seating, so you can have a quieter space with you and your, "entourage." I also liked how well lit it was and the number of large mirrors that were in each fitting area. Check this place out if you're in the Ottawa area and looking to say yes to the dress :)
