35 minutes ago New…read more$140-160 I went for a bridal updo this past Saturday after scheduling an appointment for this about a month ago over the phone. First, I was scheduled at 10:00. When I got there there was only one person available to do hair and she was giving highlights to someone else. After waiting 15 minutes, I got nervous, as it was my wedding day and I had other appointments to make and had other things to do. I expressed my concerns and asked how much longer it would be. She assured me she was almost done. It took another 12 minutes for her to see me. During this time Line, the owner I think, went in the back and was yelling at her workers. When she came to do my hair she was very nice to me. I asked for a simple sleek bun updo. I told her I had some hair clip in extentions but did not want too many because I did not want a large bun - only enough to add a little volume so it would look normal sized, as I have extremely thin hair. She started doing my hair in a ay that was not what I asked for. I told her and she tried re-doing it. It was still not what I asked for. She worked on it again. She notified me that I could have my veil steamed while I was there. I called my fiance and he came to bring it. When he got there and opened the door to walk in she started yelling at him that he had to leave and slammed the door in his face. She came and finished my hair. She was very proud of it adn took pictures. I did not like it at all but it was already almost 12:00 and I needed to get out of there. It took another 8 minutes for her to be ready for me to pay. When I did she told me it was going to be $300. I had been quoted $150 over the phone. She said the person I'd talked to had made a mistake and not given me the bridal price. I refused to pay the $300. I would not have gone there for that price. She finally gave in and agreed to the $150 which I did not want to pay, but needed to leave so I did. I creid on the way home because my hair looked so bad to me. To be fair, I think others would have liked how she did my hair, but it was not what I wanted a it was exactly what I told her I did not want and I showed her a picture many times to show her what it was I did want. The style she did was much larger than what I wanted. I wanted a simple bun. The style was for someone who was either much older than me or for someone who wanted something very fancy. She does a decent job if this is the style you want, but I was very dissapointed. When I reached out to her after my wedding requesting a refund, she did not respond. I have included pictures of what I requested and what I got. I felt very embarrassed of how I looked on my wedding day. I called my sister over to try and fix it, but was not able to because of all the hair spray and bobby pins used.
