Anyway, today I got my first haircut from "Mike The Barber", and I have to tell you the reason they are so busy is likely because they take the time to do a detailed haircut, and an exceptional job. I called the Elite Barber Service @12:50pm on Sunday afternoon to see if they were still taking walk-ins and I immediately received a text response asking me to text them!?? I complied and responded via text asking if I could get a shape up that afternoon? The person responded and said if I could get there by 3 that would be perfect.. I then asked who should I ask for and was advised to ask for Ray! I arrived to my appointment at 3:00pm, when I walked in, I asked for Ray. Ray looked surprised, I explained to him what happened and how I got his name. Ray apologized because not only had he not been advised by his business partner, who made the appointment with him, but he had taken his last client for the day. So I wasted 2 hours waiting for this appointment to arrive and not receive service due to poor communication and the lack of professionalism by the owner! To add insult to injury, 2 hrs later the owner text me back, not to apologize but to insult my intelligence by saying: (please be advised, these are his exact words: "I just got your text I told you to be in the shop by 3 o'clock that would be person that was not an appointment that so you would will get in before they take the last cut so that's badd understanding on your part" (his words verbatim... what business owner talks like that??? It's SAD because he never said that in his initial response to me, had he said said that I would have went to the barber shop immediately opposed to waiting for an appointment he is now saying I didn't have!!! ‍ read more
