Aiden was cutting my son's hair, but was unfamiliar with cutting waves so another barber, Diego had to keep leaving from the customers he was cutting to cut my son's hair as well. He can be difficult at times, and even has sensitive spots on his head from previous neurosurgery. We had a bit of a wait, it was a Saturday, but its San Tan, there's a wait for everything ... After 20+ years of being with the same Barber shop (and owner), I decided to "sneak out" and visit another highly reviewed shop on my side of town. In short, I was/am impressed with the custom cut both my 8-year-old son and I received. It's like someone took me back in time and didn't treat my cut like an assembly line. Very disappointed in the haircut my son just received from this place. Pictures of what he wanted were shown. The cut is no where near any of the pictures. When this was mentioned, the barber said it matched the picture. My son now has a very bad bob that I will have to have fixed. Look at the pics and decide for yourself. Today, I took my son in to have his hair cut done by Ahmad. He did a killer job at cutting it correctly. He immediately acknowledged the terrible job the previous Barber did and says "don't you worry man, I'll fix you up" That alone says the type of person you're going to get! Came here after moving from Mesa to San tan valley and didn't want to drive 35 mins to my usual Barber. Atmosphere was good and the shop was clean, but when I went to sit down my Barber didn't speak English. This is okay since there was another Barber close by to translate but what I told the other Barber I wanted vs what I got were two totally different things. I told the Barber I wanted a mid fade 2 length with an inch off the top with scissors. I got a 2 all around no fade and like 3 inches off the top with scissors. I guess I'll be driving back to Pristine Barber shop. It was good to try something new, but it doesn't always work out. read more

They butchered my sons hair and I asked for the top to be trimmed dude cut all the top off my sons hair he looks uneven and like he was chopped in different spots we go on vacation today and it's so sad I thought I could fix it with hair gel my son has to take pics with his messed up hair cut and cut all my sons curls off and after my sons hair was destroyed. Then I was told was the barber couldn't do for my sons hair when he could've told me when I asked him what I wanted for my son so I could've decided if I still wanted to go to him. I normally get a medium fade and it's hard to find the right barber who can actually cut it the way a medium fade is suppose to be. I booked an appointment and Jesus nailed it.
