Been going here for years. Five stars on today's receptionists. Both were professional, kind and above and beyond oh so helpful. This around noon 12-5-24. While all visits have been just fine, wait times aren't crazy bad but can be better. What I especially liked today was the customer service and friendliness even though I tho I could not get an appointment soon there. First appt, I was scheduled and then the x-ray tech cancelled that day. Needed to figure out another appt elsewhere to get an Xray CD before my DR appt that week. Second appt, I was scheduled for another Xray, and was all checked in by the time of my appt. I then waited 45 minutes to be seen. Had needed a CD of the Xray. Their system was 'slow' , come to find out, and I was asked to come back the next day for the CD. It wouldn't be ready for me when I arrive, but I would need to fill out another CD request form and wait for it. I live 45 minutes away in the mountains. I go tomorrow for that. We'll see what surprises are in store for me then. The Apple Valley office (in the system) is a little further away for me, but they're certainly more organized and efficient. read more

I asked why are we still sitting here and she says I had to verify insurance. So, why did I send in copy's and my dad was called and gave the same information and this morning she tells us that his insurance number had changed. So, we are punished because you didn't do your job prior to us coming here???? The medical field up here in the high desert is still in prehistoric times. I'm giving them three stars for the girls that actually do the imaging in the back. But for the lady at the counter who was very rude to two different people after me, shame on her, they were talking low apparently not wanting all their business to be heard and lady behind the counter was just talking as loud as possible. Then she goes in the back to do something with billing and it's quite again. Secondly, they set us up for an appointment , so they want you there at 10 AM. You have to stop drinking your water by 845 am to be on the safe side. you have a 1020 appointment get there for your appointment at 10 AM and they don't get you in the back until almost 12 and you want me to hold my bladder all this time and wondering why so many people didn't have a full bladder. Make all of that makes sense. Most of these women can't do that anymore, and then why should they hurt themselves and be in pain. This really wasn't a good luck for this company and I will make sure to let Kaiser know. Luckily for me I knew how to space my water out so I was kind of fine. My bladder was at the point of exploding when they finally called me in to the back, but then for these ladies to be upset about the ladies that had to go to the restroom and no longer had a full bladder stop that. In 15 years of having MRIs at this location never have i been told to undress for a brain MRI. I was asked to completely undress that it's always been policy at that facility. A brain MRI doesn't require clothing to be removed, especially when wearing clothing that has no metal,ie: bra clasps zippers etc. Stroke/cardiac/disabled patients already know what can and can't be worn for diagnostic exams, as it's already difficult to get dressed and go to any appointments, so we know how to be ready and prepared for any type of exam-so appointments can be successful read more

I had my insurance carrier call Elite and maybe bc I am a senior they wanted to wait an additional 4-5 days for approval. Now, my insurance carrier approved but they wanted to approve as well. I spoke with HVVMG and my insurance carrier both stated they have never heard of anything like this before. Also, the questions asked of me were more money based rather than a concern for my health. I am to receive a lung screening and ultra sound on my abdomen. My opinion is if you're a senior they do make staff members aware that you are a UM which means cost controlled. The office male individual wanted me to relate this UM situation to the scheduler. Who does this? I have decided to go elsewhere where I am treated like a HUMAN rather than a number. Be careful if your a senior medical want to maltreat us bc we are seniors they think we will not fight back but they've messed with the wrong senior. If I could give negative stars, I would. My 6 week old baby had been vomiting for 4 weeks, it started with formula and the last week he was throwing up the breastmilk as well, losing weight and dehydrated. His pediatrician did the right thing, requested all the tests she possibly could to rule out the serious stuff, because we had tried 6 different formulas with no luck, and the breastmilk wasn't working anymore either. A week and a half ago, we went here to get his ultrasound and X-rays done. The reported back to my pediatrician that nothing was wrong and they found nothing. Within a few days, it still wasn't sitting right with me and I took him to the hospital, where he was then transferred by ambulance to loma linda children's hospital. Within the first hour of our arrival, they did another ultrasound. And within two hours, we had the results. My son had Pyloric Stenosis, and required immediate surgery. Needless to say, this issue was very much already existent when his ultrasound was performed at elite advanced imaging, and they missed it! Deemed nothing was wrong with him! You have ONE job, it's a place TO where they are SPECIFICALLY paid to find anything wrong in these tests! Maybe the ultrasound tech did not get good enough pictures, maybe it was the doctor not paying enough attention when reading the ultrasound to send results to my pediatrician, who knows. Either way at, someone failed my son by not doing their job correctly. And thankfully I advocate for my son and was persistent in finding what was wrong with him, no thanks to them and their mistake and misdiagnosis. He is so little, this mistake could've cost him his life! I could imagine the toll it could've taken on a first time mom, that trusted them and thought everything was fine based on what they reported. Thankfully, I have multiple children and knew, this wasn't normal and something definitely needs any right, I knew something was wrong and he needed help. Not all mothers have the experience yet, and it could clearly be costly when lives are at stake. I 100% do not recommend this place. I am beyond disappointed and irate at the fact that they failed to do their job properly. read more

We JUST left ultrasound My baby girl could not eat for 3-4 hrs before(which there website says for an abnormal ultrasound it's only 1.5 hrs before!!) so by the time she had her ultrasound done she was not a happy camper. During the ultrasound there was a tech who was IN TRAINING!!! Doing it. We had no idea until the head tech came in! Mind you there was no consent from us that it was okay for a trainee to perform the ultrasound on our two month old! WHY would you have someone who's in training be the one to check something that is so serious it's life threatening! WHY would you have someone who is in training perform the ultrasound on a hungry not so happy 2 month old!!? There are plenty of other opportunities to train! THEN it was time for her to get it done with food in her belly and they had my 2 month old drink straight water!! She stated it was because it had to be clear liquid in order to see if better BUT then when it was her turn to finally jump In and get those finally pictures she let my baby lay there and drink her FORMULA! without any issues of weather it was clear or not. So what was the point of the water!! I expressed my concern and she was a smart ass and replied "well what do you think you mix her formula with!?" Ok first of all I want to say I never thought I'd consider myself claustrophobic but wow! I definitely was. I had an MRI before and didn't have an issue. Due to more back pain and muscle tension as of late I think the idea of being in a tube without being able to move really freaked me out. I came a couple weeks ago and the minute I started going in I panicked! I tried a couple times and finally said "NOPE". I felt like I was going to pass out but couldn't! Lol. Told them I couldn't do it. They were very understanding and polite about it. I didn't even have a subconscious feeling that they were pointing fingers at me behind my back and calling me a weenie. These are good well trained people and made me feel at ease. The said it was ok and that this happens to a lot of people and suggested I try a bigger machine. I said ok a scheduled it for today. So I went in today tired. Tried to stay awake so I'd sleep in the machine. It didn't work! I got there and changed into their gown got on the machine. If my back didn't hurt I would have jumped off and ran out! I tried three times and they were good with it. Didn't make me feel like I was being a weenie or anything. I finally asked for a cup of water. Did the sign of the cross and prayed. I laid back down and slowly counted breathing in and out. The guys kept checking in giving the minutes passed and left which helped big time. No shaming or dirty looks. They will make you feel comfortable. read more

I've called multiple back times after been given a referral from Kaiser. This company out sourced calling Carter called me 5xs to book. They have an outsourced calling facility they use so there's a language barrier. After going round and round about my first and last name and birthdate because of the language barrier which took over 5 min we finally was able to move to the booking of the appointment. At this point this person is frustrated and wouldn't give me an appointment based on the fact that I do not know the address to the referring doctor. Kaiser does do phone appointments and sometimes you will get a referral from a dr you've never visited. I tried to explain this to this person but at this point I'm yelled at. This person would ask me questions only this Dr would know which I couldn't confirm address and phone number for the Dr but I've worked in the medical field and know that when a referral is done all that information is on the referral. Your call center is rude and now I have to email my Dr to get a referral to another place. It took 4 people over the phone to schedule an urgent test for my newborn because their "system wasn't working" ( their system didn't work a few months ago either so I guess they haven't fixed it yet). They where 35 minutes late while my newborn was fasting and fussing in their office. And they did not give us all of the correct information so we had to leave the office, buy a bottle and rush back to conduct the test. The only good thing is they did send the results quickly, we got a call from our pediatrician about an hour after we left. So That was good. I understand not everything goes as planned, and some times you have to wait longer in a office. But when your newborn is hungry and the test is late when you where 10 minuets early to the appointment, it's pretty aggravating. Very disappointed and irritated. Won't be back. read more

Had to make several phone calls to get an appointment set up, doctors wanted x ray a week prior to appt, this morning elite imaging calls and canx appointment no x ray tech, they rescheduled for day before dr appointment. Looked online to ck appointments and the same crap nothing at that location u can't even ck for a couple weeks ahead, they need to fix appt app and maybe see about getting another x ray tech. read more

This is more informational than anything if you have a pacemaker and require an MRI and are sent here they cannot do it you'll need to get it done at a hospital. It's not a knock on them all other things like X-rays and CT scans they do well. Hope this helps folks not waste their time. read more

I'm finding out that the people that are making appointments are overseas, so these people are outsourcing jobs like we couldn't use the jobs in the high desert? I had a 2:45 appt today got there at 2:20 because they said get there 20 min early to process paperwork . waited and waited and waited at 3:00 I asked what's going on i had been there since 2:20 and they only took 1 person back. She said they only had 1 technician and they were running behind. How long does it take to take a x-ray?????? My boyfriend had an appt at 3:45 I left at 3:15 she says oh there's only 1 person in front of you really and what about the other 5 people that were in front of me . One lady went to the front desk and asked how much longer she had 1:45 appt and said she got there at 1:30 she still hadn't been called back. Since I'm on the road a lot, I made a Saturday appointment at 7:00 am. I was told to arrive 1/2 hour before to get any errant paperwork completed before my SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT. No one arrived at the facility until 7. So yes. I waited UNNECESSARILY FOR 30 MINUTES in the parking lot at their request. Ok so now I need to pay my co-pay. No problem. Except they can only take cash or a check because the servers are down. They knew the servers would be down the day before, but decided not to call the CUSTOMERS to let them know ahead of time.
