I became a client of Eliot's a number of years ago and remained in treatment with him for approximately 2 years. After moving away and attempting to find another therapist with whom I would uncover the roots of my afflictions and gain the strength and confidence to overcome them, I gave up.
The progress that I had made in therapy with Eliot in the past had set the bar very high for any future therapist and, however insightful and caring they may have been, I became frustrated by the slow and lengthy process that with Eliot had manifested itself as a speedy succession of epiphanies and with whom my growth had come in leaps and bounds.
After a couple more years, I had become accustomed to my life in the absence of psychotherapy and did not feel that there was anything missing. I stopped in one day to simply say hello to Eliot and realized how much ground there was still left for me to cover in my journey of self-improvement.
Today, with every session, I walk away with a head full of ideas, insights, inspirations, plans, and confidence to waste no time in living the life I've always wanted and being the person I've always wanted to be. There are good and bad therapists, but like Eliot there are none.
Not only is he more committed to his craft than any other therapist I have ever come across (and there have been numerous), but his aptitude at understanding others better than they understand themselves, revealing their own truths to them, and shining a light on the path that they are looking for but can't see, is unparalleled.
I am a highly satisfied customer. read more
