I've been seeing Hadeel for the past few years, and I'll follow her wherever she goes. I now drive an hour and a half just to see her, and it's worth every minute. I'm a huge fan of Komal at Elinea. A few months ago, I went to her for Dysport, and I couldn't have been happier with how careful and conservative her approach was. She's meticulous in her craft, and takes the time to make sure you still look natural and refreshed. I've had experiences with other spas/clinics that went a little overboard, so I will be coming back to see Komal in a heartbeat. I've just finished my second SkinPen microneedling session with Komal today. After our first session in late August, I saw such a difference in the texture and appearance of my acne scarring. Plus, almost all the discoloration from my scarring went away! The team takes before and after photos with VISIA between each treatment, and if you do a package like myself, they have each session's photo saved to see your progress over time. Before coming to Elinea, I had done microneedling about 5 times before in NYC, but the results paled in comparison to just one session with Komal. Typically, I would notice slight changes in removing discoloration, but not really much in terms of texture improvement. This is likely because NYC doesn't have the same protocols as CA for certain services to be administered by medical providers. A medical provider is able to go much deeper, which gives more effective results. Not only is Komal is so effective in addressing my concerns, she also takes an abundance of caution when treating me. For example, recommending SkinPen over Halo to avoid risk of hyperpigmentation for my skin (which I am wary of as a person of color) and also explaining why she avoids going too deep for my skin. Not only is she a fantastic provider, but she is so lovely as a person too! Honestly, everyone I've interacted with at Elinea, (Kriss, Ellen, Tess just to namedrop a few!) is a genuinely kind person. I know Dr. Rami built such a great community at this practice even if we haven't had a treatment together. The atmosphere is so welcoming and every potential need is anticipated to make sure you're comfortable. The space is beautiful and incredible immaculate, from the waiting area to the restroom. Since moving to SF, I've had trouble finding new places for aesthetic treatments, but I am so happy to have found Elinea and Komal. The team offers so many services, from chemical peels to laser to injectables, I'm sure there's something for anyone. Beautiful medical spa in the Castro. I came here to try out my first hydrofacial and it was an amazing. The whole experience was very relaxing. The reception area is nice and calming, and so were the private rooms for treatments. Sarah, who did my facial, was very nice and friendly. She answered a lot of my skincare questions and explained the hydrofacial process. The hydrofacial itself had a lot of different treatments and was very relaxing. I mainly wanted to do a facial because I wanted some extractions, I've had a few pimples that were under the surface of my skin for a few weeks and Sarah was able to get them all out! My skin was very glowy after but was a bit red afterwards from the extractions (that was to be expected with the amount of extractions they did). It calmed down after a few hours. After researching many med spas in SF and looking at what each one had to offer, I found Elinea to have all the treatments I needed, all in one place. I thought I'd give it a try and after my first experience there, I kept going back for more. From the moment I stepped in, I was warmly greeted by the staff, felt at ease and knew I was in the right place. This cozy spot is aesthetically designed- from the waiting area, treatment rooms and restrooms as well. I was scheduled for my first HydraFacial with Angie. Angie is very friendly and informative. She did a quick skin assessment and recommended what would work for my skin type, keeping in mind what my priorities were. Dr. Rami was kind enough to set aside a few minutes to advice me on the appropriate facial treatments that would best work for me (and those that would not be recommended based on my skin type). During the HydraFacial treatment, Angie went through each step, advising me on what to be expected as well as the next steps I should take to get the full benefit of my treatment. I felt truly pampered with my very first HydraFacial experience and the result- a glowing boost! 100% recommend this. Next, I decided on getting my first MOXI treatment (the face and neck package- 3 sessions). Pictures are taken prior to the sessions and this helps to compare and see the difference in skin texture, tone, wrinkles, etc. Komal is such a joy to have as my provider and she is a perfectionist! 10/10 for that. She is very knowledgable, patient and very friendly. Komal takes the time to explain what to expect before, during and after the treatment and there is never a feeling of being rushed. After my first MOXI session, I strictly followed the steps for after care which is vital for obtaining optimal results. I had my second session of MOXI treatment and it was a breeze( 30 minutes of numbing cream and then 15-20 minutes of the treatment). Comparing my pictures from before the first treatment and a month after, proved to me the positive results of this cutting-edge facial treatment. I can't wait for my third session of MOXI. So glad I found this gem!! The space is so beautiful with nice scented candles burning. I came in to treat my acnes and they recommended chemical peel. After 2 treatments my skin has already improved so much! (Skin age was 32 when I first came in and today it was 28!) Sara is also super friendly and sweet. You can immediately feel that you're in good hands while working with her. Will definitely consider doing facials or other treatments with them. I'm not sure if the provider was having an off day, but my first time here will be my last time. The front desk and the provider (Komal) were very sweet but I didn't have a good injectable experience here. Komal went over the areas to inject and explained why, which was good and standard in my experience. Then she changed her mind and moved some sites, which I never had a provider do before. Also, every other provider I have had told me the total cost of treatment before starting--not here. She said she would wipe my face with disinfectant before starting--that also did not happen. I was also not given an ice pack to numb like every other provider I went to before, just some stress balls to hold. She then started and the first 2 injections did not go correctly due to a "dull needle" so she changed a needle and re-injected in the same place, which was painful. She then went ahead but also had to change the needle again at another point. I was concerned at this point and her "touch" was not as good as previous providers. Check out was easy and the lovely girl at the front desk told me about a promo they were having and gave me a discount and pricing was equivalent to previous providers. I have to wait two weeks before seeing the results so fingers crossed it looks good because I don't want to go back. read more

Came back for a follow up with Komal, and it was truly the best. First, Elinea had a last minute cancellation, so I was able to snag it. It's so helpful that they're open after 5 PM. I was having some residual pain (which is unusual after my masseter dysport treatments). I was fully prepared to need/pay for extra units. However, Komal did a full assessment on my jaw and temple and concluded that the treatment had taken well! She discussed how different issues (dental issues and stress with a new job) can also affect my discomfort. It's amazing to meet a provider with such integrity and honesty. Instead of trying to sell me on something I didn't need, she prioritized the patient and really listened to me. She took our whole session to decipher what could be happening, even though my appt was at the end of the day. Her care and attention for me felt undivided in a way that I really value. Elinea is the type of establishment I'd long ago abandoned hope of encountering in the Castro- understated and tasteful. You could easily pass it up even though it has an accessible and visible location. I walked in and was impressed with the attention to detail- the fixtures, the finishes, the music, the colors and most importantly, the lighting, were all on point. Of course, when you are about to entrust your face to someone for the first time, these are details that put your mind at ease. I was immediately greeted by the friendly staff at the desk and the manager who offered me a drink and gave me a tour of the space. Every square inch is elegant and comfortable, and it even has a sunny patio out back. The treatment rooms are well designed to feel immaculate and comfortable, without feeling cold and sterile. I almost fell asleep during my treatment. In fact, I probably did. This was not my first time at the rodeo, and most facials that I've had in the past left my face looking like a package of ground beef. Actually, I'd given up on facials years ago because I was tired of the recovery period- I just don't have three days for my face to come back to a presentable tone and texture. The Hydrofacial service looked like it could be gentle enough for me, so I decided to give it a try. Monica provided my treatment, and she could not have done anything differently. Thoroughly professional, easygoing and just the right amount of conversation. At times, it felt like my face was being scraped and vacuumed and I thought to myself, here we go again! At the same time, I've wanted to have my face vacuumed and I found this deeply satisfying. In what seemed like moments but was actually more like an hour, the facial was complete. Not what I expected at all. Especially since I'm one of those rare individuals who reads the consent form and thought, this could go horribly wrong.
