Since it was Labor Day, there weren't many shops open, so I called another mobile mechanic just to get some insight. He was super kind and actually recommended this place. I was surprised they were open on a holiday, especially because they were really busy. I got there around 8 AM and they took my car in pretty much right away. They found that some parts from my brake job had not been installed properly by the previous mechanic and got everything taken care of. They were also able to find another issue I've been dealing with for a while, which I really appreciated. I get nervous going to mechanics because I always worry about being overcharged when I don't fully understand what they're talking about. I didn't feel that way here at all. They were patient, explained everything to me, and were very honest about what was actually wrong and what I needed. They were quick, friendly, honest, and their prices were very fair. Who in the right mind would buy two tires that are different, even if they're used and that the ad says nothing about this. Also, sure they will install them, but they don't balance the tires, because of course, that's extra. So coming in for $25 used tires thinking sure I'll pay $50 for two, ends up being over $100. If that is not crooked, I have no idea what is. The only thing I will say, though is the two employees that were there were very nice, and they were just doing what the owner told them to do. So I don't blame the employees at all. They were actually pretty cool.

If there was going to be a delay, I would have appreciated being informed instead of being given an estimated time and then finding out much later that nothing had been done. This time I called for my work truck tires and Karla said the tires would be in within an hour. That's fast service since they didn't have the oversized tires in stock. I recommend them to all of my family members. Side note: Armando saw my brake pads were getting low and told me to run down the street to the auto parts and get them and he'll have one of his guys do them really quick. My visit began with a simple inquiry about the price of used tires. Over a week earlier, I had called and was quoted $50 per tire by a woman over the phone. When I came in, the owner's son insisted that the price was now $60 per tire because of a recent price change. I understand that prices can change, and my issue was not simply about the $10 difference. I was trying to explain the quote I had previously received so we could clarify the discrepancy. Instead of addressing the situation professionally, he became argumentative, dismissive, and unnecessarily confrontational. I even clarified that I wasn't trying to give him an attitude, which he acknowledged.
