I came here to fix my iPhone 14 pro and this guy yes did fix the back, but IS NOT APPLE CERTIFIED. Meaning he's not certified to fix and Apple iPhone so do not bring your phone here. After receiving my phone back within not even 5 minutes of leaving the store my iPhone kept restarting repeatedly, about every 5 minutes. It still is doing that and so far, no where to fix it yet. Basically he ruined my 1000$ iPhone that I PAID FULLY for when purchasing. Beyond pissed off with this dude. Tried to leave 0 stars but wouldn't let me. read more

I shattered the screen of my iPhone and stopped by Capitol Computers to set up an appointment for a screen replacement. The woman at the front desk indicated that although they could replace batteries on site, they sent all their screen repairs back to Apple. I couldn't afford to be without the phone for a week and remembered seeing that this place (Elhouri's) advertised phone repairs from their storefront downtown. The fellow who was there indicated that not only could he do the repair, he had some time to do it then if I wanted to wait a few minutes. I left him the phone and headed across the street to Lisa's Legit Burritos for some lunch (mmm...) Twenty minutes later, the phone was ready and the charge was $110 - $40 less than what it would have cost for Apple to do the repair. I was very pleased with his work and grateful that he was able to help me out so quickly. I would highly recommend. read more

I went to Elhouris to fix my broken iPhone screen. I paid nearly $150 for the repair which lasted less than 24 hours. My screen completely went blank. I then traveled an hour to have him fix it again which he did do for free. I then brought my phone back home and poof, the same thing happened, my screen was completely blank. I called him again( on a friends phone as mine was broken...again) and he seemed irritated and was NOT willing to fix it for me. I ended up getting a replacement phone for another $100 and now have a phone again. I had a conversation with the owner of this establishment and he told me that he buys his parts from secondary markets. Not good quality, his service was sub par as well. All in all my phone was worse than before I went to get it fixed here, twice. Wasted a couple hundred dollars and still needed a new phone. read more

Replaced broken ipad glass. He was recommended by Commdoctor in Chelsea. Had to wait 2 weeks for him to get the part, but once he had it, he replaced the glass in about an hour. The price was $20 more than he quoted on the phone, when I mentioned that, he gladly charged me the lower price. Repair was well done. About 2 years later the glass developed stress cracks so I'm not sure he did the best job possible, but I'm still using it. read more

I got my screen replaced there, and when I got my phone back I had a small defect in the top right corner that continued to grow round the right side of my phone. I went back a few days later and they said there's nothing they can do that it wasn't covered. Tried to support a local company, completely backfired will only use Apple and Verizon from now on my phone is on its way to being unusable. read more

My cell phone was overheating for many weeks. It became increasingly difficult to start up and use the phone. Soon it stopped working altogether. I took it to 2 repair shops in a much larger city and was told the sensor was gone by one, and the mother board was gone by the other. I then brought it to the phone store run by the service provider, here in Augusta, where I had bought the phone. By now the phone no longer could even boot up, so I couldn't even get my photos and contacts off the phone. However, the provider's store tech suggested I take the phone to Elhouri, where the owner could do wonders with "dead" phones. I did take my phone to Elhouri. The owner said he knew what the problem was and had seen it before. For $40, he was able to get the phone started and transfer my personal information to my new phone He also explained how the overheating of the phone had indeed damaged the sensor but that the phone could be restarted be reapplying heat to a critical part of the phone, so that it was at a higher operating temperature. I will be trying to get the phone replaced by the manufacturer now, since there are class action suits against the company and, according to the provider and Elhouri, the phone manufacturer has been replacing phones having this problem. However, I would have lost hundreds of contacts and photos without Elhouri's knowledge of how to get the phone operating again and then offloading the personal information. So I give this gentleman top reviews, He knows how to do what 3 other shops couldn't. And he does his work in front of the customer and is generous about sharing his knowledge. read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PHONE TO THIS GUY! Took my HTC in for a cracked screen he said he would also need to replace LCD which made sense. A week later I go to pick it up after calling and being told the phone would be done. I get there and the new screen is cracked and the phone is not sitting all the way in the support backing. He tells me he is only going to charge me $40 since he cracked the new screen. Turns out he also cracked the backing of the phone, broke the power button as well as plastic by the volume keys that he decided just to super glue. I asked where my phone case was and he lost it and as I look over my phone I realize the camera key is missing too he couldn't find that either. He just looks at me and says I need a new phone and I have one here you can have for $300. Now I have a phone that doesn't work at all I can't even get my information off of it because it won't turn on and I will now have to buy a new phone, so after all that he decided I didn't own him anything after all. read more
