Other services/sales onsite include a Super Wash soft cloth vehicle wash, firewood, lotto, ice, propane exchange, snacks, restroom, vehicle fluids like oil and windshield washer fluid. We exited at Baden and found this somewhat unique Shell gas station with a Circle K associated with it. I am accustomed to seeing Circle K at Esso gas stations. There are only four pumps so it can take a little while to fuel up during busy time frames. There is a Subway sandwich shop and a Tim Hortons within close proximity of the gas station, making this an ideal stop for gas and food.

I went to this pioneer to fill, my associate used it and said, hey can you help me my card doesnt work. So I got out of the car and tried Tap on #6, didnt work. Then I tried inserting my card with two failed oin attempts. That's weird. So we went ahead and gassed up and paid inside. The attendant was forth coming by calling me out as #6. I said to him, your machine doesnt work. He looked at me with an "I dont give and f***" look. So I responded back to him, okay I'll post a Yelp review to inform other people. Caution. #6 doesnt take tap or pin entry. If you're a female customer like me, you know how important it is to be able to pay at the machine not in the convenience store. It is so easy to get overpowered and cornered in a gas station past midnight. Thankfully, I am with a male associate and someone was keeping an eye on me. This is a frequent problem I've had with Pioneer, including lonely attendants hand touching patron hands (yes apparently they get a high out of it). So be careful ladies. Shameless plug, I've enjoyed the Esso Speedpass App. It allows a screen touch free authorization on screen with receipt in email and allows easy joining to the pc optimum and the retiring esso program. Will be telling my associate to use that next time. 2 star dropped to 1 star, attendant was not following wearing a mask. He wore his mask on his chin. :(

Parking is still the same. What I liked so much is that the workers were always cheerful, with this last management change, the 3rd shift is overworked and tired. I like the workers but I see the detrimental effect the new management has on the place and workers.

Eason instead allows customers to get the 2.5 cents per L with the extra privilege plus use any discount level that you may have. In my case I have the $0.25 per liter. So I gassed up roughly 49L coming up to 60L saved $12.50 and doubled dipped on the 2.5 cents per liter (40 when I fill 80L). Right now is a rock paper scissor games that yields you daily chances to win goodies inside the store. The biggest struggle is that not all stores carry the items in stock. For example on Jamieson, they do not stock the circle k nuts, chips and oh Henry. The Hespeler gas station stocks the chips, water but are out of the oh henry. There were other prizes like coffee -but again not all location stock it I think they are are northern Ontario locations. I guess one csnt complain, this scavenger hunt makes it fun and it's free and I was going to go and fill up anyway.

I'm always presented with a warm friendly greeting when I enter, and they always have bags of ice in stock (very important to Canadians without ice makers). You'll find most of your basic pantry needs satisfied and even a wide selection lottery scratchers if you're feeing lucky. The store is immaculate and clean. Oh, and they beat Sobeys by $1 on ice!
