Our daughter has been taking one-on-one private piano lessons with Mrs. Masako for more than 4 years now. During the shelter-in-place government order, we were able to convert our in-person classes to online classes from home for the safety of our community. They were complete beginners and I am amazed at the progress they have made over the past 3 years. Staci has a such a gentle and calm approach, and explains music concepts in a way children can easily understand and retain. Her many years of teaching experience is evident after just the first lesson. She is fantastic with giving positive feedback and encouragement, and also gives constructive pointers to helps my kids achieve their potential and strive to play with their best effort. I never had to remind them to practice at home, they truly enjoy playing for fun now. I still hear them play recital pieces from last year which they have memorized. The twice annual recitals in May and November are well attended and great experiences for students to become confident and showcase their growth.
