Hoping against all odds to find a legit recording studio within driving distance, I went online and…read morescrolled a short list of studios near me. Panda Studio's website revealed a recording environment with equipment and staff that appeared to rival what I had used in the North Bay. I rolled the dice and booked sessions to record an album. Ryan Palma, my engineer, was technically and musically proficient and didn't waste a minute finding the sound I was looking for. My album was recorded, mixed and mastered, all at Panda! I chose Ryan Palma from the list of engineers affiliated with Panda Studios in Fremont CA based on his online bio. I needed someone familiar with a wide range of genres as my influences include pop, rock and R&B from the 60's to now. I consider Ryan a local genius for recording, mixing and mastering music. His technical expertise and musicality turned problem solving into a cake walk for finding the sounds I wanted. I plan to hire his services for my next album.

The production quality of the songs has been top-notch, and I'm so grateful a place like this exists to help bring music to life. Thank you, Theresa and Sam. We truly appreciate everything you do. Laid down vocals and 12-string guitar for a folky track. Danny B. the engineer I worked with was incredible - really flexible and meticulous with understanding my vision and making it happen. Did a three-mic setup for the guitar - and it sounds INCREDIBLE. Highly recommend for recording anything from simple folky acoustic all the way up to full band and everywhere in between. This place is straight up legit and captured my music in a way I'm not sure other studios could have. Again highly recommend working with Danny if you can. Prices are also pretty reasonable - will def be recording more here when I get the chance.

He's a fun and professional to collaborate with, and I'm beyond happy with how my song sounds as a finished product. I've been producing on Ableton for a few years, and I was specifically looking to work with someone in studio to learn and improve my mixes in general. I spent a few hours with Chris in his Oakland studio and learned so much during that time. It was one of the most informative sessions I've had since I started making music! Chris shared numerous different techniques and workflow tips with me while making suggestions and helping refine my track. It's clear that he's an expert in Ableton, but is also generous in sharing his knowledge. After our in-person session, we collaborated for another week or so via phone/e-mail through the mastering process. Throughout this process, he was thorough, patient, and gave invaluable feedback and recommendations - all while communicating effectively. Something I really appreciate about working with Chris is that he makes suggestions and gives honest feedback, but also makes sure that he respects the original vision for what the track should sound like. He makes suggestions but never pushes or makes it feel like you're straying or altering your original track. I look forward to working with Chris again! Highly recommend Mothership Studio.

We went with their Storytelling Style package, which exceeded all of our expectations. Leading up to the day, we walked through the timeline with Christina to align on the schedule and highlights we wanted to capture. When the day came, they were so professional and knew exactly how to capture the moments to translate the tone of our wedding into the video. Thanks to them, we were able to enjoy our day stress free and have all our special moments captured. Less than a week later, they shared the highlight video with us and sent out the full video. Thank you Christina and George!!

They have a very extensive portfolio on their website, which I loved as it really gave me a sense of the style of filming and editing they do. Once I sent an inquiry, Christina was very responsive and informative. She was also great with communicating with us and our other vendors the few weeks leading up to the wedding, making sure her team's equipment would work with our DJ's audio setup. On wedding day, Christina was absolutely lovely to work with. As someone with no experience being on camera, I loved that she gave tips on suggested movements to make that appeared really natural and beautifully on camera. She made us feel at ease with all the advice. Christina's ability to speak Chinese was a great bonus - it made coordinating with our Chinese-speaking family members much easier and kept everyone on the same page. The finished products turned out amazing. I couldn't be happier with the videos provided and how well everything turned out. Thank you so much to Christina and the team for making our wedding day so special! I'd absolutely recommend working with Filmman Video for anyone looking for a wedding videographer - you definitely won't be disappointed with the results.

Graham (Final Frame) was the perfect fit! He is very professional and readily available for any questions, etc. He has a quicker turnaround for the video which is a bonus, and I really liked that his presence was very subtle (doesn't feel like you're on a movie set with a ton of bulky equipment). He edited a wonderful video (documentary edit), and I feel like I really get to relive the wedding day, and I love that I get to re-watch all the speeches/special moments of us with our friends and family. One of my favorite parts is that he will interview the guests (optional) and you get to hear and see family/friends video messages. It was awesome and really special. I'd highly recommend Graham! He is excellent!

Graham is very responsive and easy to work with. The day of our June 2021 wedding, Graham showed up on time and got right to work. You hardly even know he's there, which is exactly what we wanted from a videographer. He films "documentary style" and gets all the parts of the day that are such a blur to the bride and groom. My favorite thing about his style is the interviews he does with the bride and groom separately and the interviews he does with guests. It's such a nice touch that makes watching the video even more special. Graham is so affordable given the INCREDIBLE work that he does. I can't believe some people don't get a videographer for their wedding as it was such a special experience to rewatch our day through the eyes of our guests. My sister used Graham a few years ago, and I will be recommending Graham to every future bride and groom. His work is stunning, he doesn't interfere or get in the way, and he adds special touches that make the video even more fun to watch. Thank you so much Graham!!
