BDA has a motto of kindness first and it really shows in my childs smile and the friends she has made. The moms are really encouraging of each other and their dancers. Miss Jasmine and her team has shown nothing but kindness and compassion for the dancers and the children's dreams of creativity and expression through dance. This studio encourages children to grow not only in dance but in self confidence. I have seen my girls bloom at this studio. They have made amazing friends had a great time and have learned to self love. Beyond the staff and the classes this studio fosters a dance family vibe. Parents here are so welcoming and are always quick to understanding, compassion and empathy. Everyone truly just wants everyone to feel welcomed and loved. I have made amazing friends at this studio and could not imagine where I would be without them. Although we all parent differently and have different views on different subjects our love for our kids seems to bond us all. This studio also goes above and beyond by making sure all dances and costumes are age appropriate as well as offering classes for everyone from mommy and me to adoptive to adult jazz and tap ( which is a blast) . I honestly could not emphasize enough how thankful i am for this studio and all they have done for not only for my children but for my whole family and our community.

Neither of us is gifted beyond general swaying to the music and the occasional cheesy move like the Running Man or the Sprinkler Dance. We started looking for a place that would be supportive and constructive which turned out to be a real challenge. A lot of the studios around here are HYPER competitive, complete with crazy dance moms and emotional teen/tweens. Some didn't even bother to respond to our inquires about enrolling our son. We were SO fortunate to find this studio! Emily and her staff are caring, loving and supportive - very committed to fostering an environment where all the kids are loved and instructed well through community group practices - no matter the level of talent. A very good spot for parents that want to let their kid explore without committing them before age 5 to some sort of serious dance regime. Our son has been taking the 3 year old class and looks forward to it every week, and we've made a lot of good parent friends too. I'd recommend this place to anyone with a young kiddo expressing an interest in dance.

MIss Emily runs the school efficiently, and she and the other instructors are fantastic with the kids. The classes provide a great balance between real instructional time and free or partially structured play time. They are clearly committed to providing attention to every child through group activities, but also on a one-on-one basis when necessary. Like every kid my son is very physical and active, and while I foresee sports and/or martial arts in his future, I think dance is a great place to start. He loves it, gives us frequent mini dance recitals at home to show off his moves, and then participates in the big recital put on at the end of the class. The show at the end of the first class was a performance of 'Alice in Wonderland.' He played a canary, had a little dance solo, and ended his time with an ad libbed hulk-smash move that brought down the house. His current bff he met in this class. Her parents agree with us that it's really well run and beneficial for them. They love coming. It's a big win all around. I definitely recommend this class to anyone interested.

There is no where else she'd rather be! Excellent ballet instruction by Ms. Adelle and Ms. Heidi. She also takes tap, jazz, and contemporary. My daughter would take more classes like hip hop and lyrical if we had more time. This is the only dance studio in Williamsburg that presents a professional performance of the Nutcracker Ballet in Williamsburg. It is wonderful. The studio also has a June recital, and does many community performances both during Nutcracker season and during June recital time. This studio hasn't done competitive dancing at least since my daughter has been here - for that I am very thankful! The dancers as well as the parents are all very friendly and supportive, it's just a good group of folks to be around!

It's the first summer camp they have participated in and they thoroughly enjoyed it. The teachers, Rebekah and Sara are knowledgeable, encouraging, and provided quality classes for the kids. The helper, Erin, was wonderful. They were kind, calm, patient, and in control -- and with a class full of 4-6 year olds that alone is impressive! The focus was on basic technique and setting a good foundation to build on. They built confidence in the kids by focusing on the positive and encouraging the kids to try and do the best they could. Because it was their first experience, I stayed every day. I never heard a negative word the entire week. The whole camp was very organized. My grandsons loved it and are dancing around the house. Impressive results!!! I would recommend the En Point Dance Academy to any one, any age.
