The studio itself was pretty basic but clean. I will definitely be back to try their other specialties to see which one fits me the best. Some of the equipment including the mats is a bit beat up but still functional. They offer cubbies for your personal items and provide clear instructions for cleaning your materials at the end of class.

I showed up 5 minutes before the class begun due to the sign they had in front. I guess this yoga instructor simply has a grievance with a polite "no." They also offer complimentary coffee and matcha via VendiBean, and a soon-to-open sauna with Turkish towels, infused spa water, and essential oil cold towels--which perfectly aligns with the overall experience. Booking is seamless through their app, and being able to choose your reformer is a small detail that makes a big difference. With a wide variety of classes there's something for everyone. From the moment you walk in, the experience is intentional. You're greeted and checked in--or, if you prefer, you can check yourself in through the app (perfect for introverts). The retail section offers quality grip socks, merch, and accessories. Also in the lobby is a seating area to relax before or after class, plus a filtered water station. The studio itself has 14 reformers (with spots 8-14 in the front row facing the mirrors), along with lockers (not cubbies) and two spacious private bathrooms that each have their own vibe. I can't elaborate further on the bathrooms but IYKYK. What truly sets RSC apart from most studios in town is that they don't accept ClassPass. Located at The Bend plaza so there's plenty of parking spaces. Kintsugi is on the second floor, close by to Mothership Coffee Roasters. Especially with new-to-me fitness studios, I like to arrive pretty early so I can get a tour of the facility + familiarize myself with my surroundings (bathrooms, where the equipments are at, lockers etc) but don't bother coming earlier than 15 minutes prior to your scheduled class. They lock their doors!!! I was stuck standing around (thank goodness it was shaded) like a lost child lol. Small studio. Two rooms. Two bathrooms, no showers available. I think most, if not all, classes are heated. So be prepare to SWEATTTT. Lockers are provided with the combination lock attached so no need to bring your own locks. Common area is the center big tree and it can get quite chaotic especially after class when everyone is trying to scramble to get their shoes, lockers, grab water etc. That's why my rating is at a 4.5. I took a Yin class on Sunday at 11:30am. I really liked how the instructor (Lauren?) was hands-on with correcting postures or help deepen our stretches. Of course, you're more than welcome to let her know if you prefer not to be touched. Also liked how she asked the class what would we want to focus on. Personally, I benefited from her stretches. My glutes were feeling extra sore & tight and after taking her class, I felt some relief.

I'd left my yoga bag at the hotel - No mat towel, no sweat towel. Tiny problem. In a hot yoga class...not so tiny. Before I ever stepped into the yoga room, Adam greeted me with a warm smile, made sure I had everything I needed, and showed me how the studio flowed. A few minutes later, while I was squinting at the tiny locker numbers, Lisa noticed and kindly helped me get settled. Those weren't interruptions. They were introductions. The Guide: Adam Daudier * Power Flow We began standing at the front of our mats, facing one another in two mirrored rows (a formation I'm beginning to really embrace). One collective Om. A classic Surya Namaskara. Then we played. One sequence invited us to transition from Warrior I to the opposite side with our palms together overhead and our gaze lifted upward, relying more on proprioception than sight. Field Note: Trust the body. Not just the eyes. Later, Adam offered three headstand variations. I tried two in class...I'll try the third at home. Throughout class, Adam moved constantly, teaching beside us, in front of us, and from every angle. His cueing was steady. His presence was calm. Meanwhile, tracks like "Feel" by Franky Rizardo infused the room. It was the perfect juxtaposition. One grounded the practice. The other kept it playful. Field Note: Later, I learned Adam is also a DJ. Of course he is. The Tribe Kintsugi kept happening. Lisa helped me find my locker. Another yogi pointed me toward the mat cleaner and guest towel hamper after class. Before leaving, I visited with Adam and Lisa and discovered Lisa grew up in my hometown of Chicago. Yoga really is a small world. Space & Place After check-in, you enter a small atrium centered around a beautiful tree, creating a natural roundabout that connects the lockers, bathrooms, Moon Room, and yoga studio. The architecture flows...and so does the practice. Warm wood. Soft light. Circular forms. Even the artwork echoes the spirit of kintsugi. The Takeaway: The name was the lesson Kintsugi is the Japanese art of honoring cracks rather than hiding them. I didn't arrive broken. I simply arrived... in a new city... without a towel... without knowing my way... without knowing anyone. And then... every little gap was met. A towel. A locker. A smile. A shared Om. Coming here has helped me rediscover my passion for yoga, find my groove again, and reconnect with a part of myself I had missed. My practice has grown so much from learning from all of the amazing instructors. They've helped me improve my flexibility, strength, and form, and I always leave class feeling better both mentally and physically. Somewhere along the way, I also discovered how much I love the reformer and hot bootcamp classes lol. I never expected to enjoy them as much as I do, and having so much variety definitely keeps me excited and motivated to come back. One of my favorite things about the studio is how personal it feels. Everyone knows you by name, the instructors are so encouraging, and you always feel comfortable and welcomed. I also love seeing how much it continues to evolve while still keeping that cozy feel. I loved that there was a free 30 min introduction class and when I went I was greeted with a cute personalized sign and her set up was so nice/zen. The owner Robyn had such a chill and welcoming vibe to her and explained/demonstrated everything. From there I did the 7 chakra yoga package which was solo 1 hour classes including crystals after each class and even some reiki post workout! I always looked forward to going and my pup too who got to play at Roscoe's Retreat- (Robyn's husband's dog business, highly recommend!) My pup and I would both get a workout in and be beat afterwards. I can without a doubt say Your Higher Self definitely made me feel more confident/calm (and sore) lol.
