Alvin took the time to listen to my goals and created a fun and new workout plan for me. I have learned to love Muay Thai and feel confident each day with the ability to protect myself. It has been a great addition to sustaining cardiovascular endurance. He also showed me how to incorporate kettlebells into strength training exercises. It was a steep learning curve, but with consistency and Alvin's knowledge, I'm feeling stronger every day. Alvin doesn't just preach health and fitness, he helps you achieve it. He allows you to appreciate your strengths and weaknesses and use that towards lifelong success. I would highly recommend an initial consultation, which is complimentary, to discuss your goals! I am confident Alvin can help you reach them.

That isn't all he can do so if you want something else he can help you with that as well. I had no prior martial arts and I was honestly intimidated to go to a gym. He has made the experience really welcoming. One of the things I noticed right away is that he has really good attention to detail. He is also incredibly good at pacing your progress. He pushes me a little bit more every single time. He is never running late and is always there ready to go. My cardio, strength, flexibility, and mental fortitude has gone through the roof. I hit PRs with him almost every session so far. He has helped me a lot with breathing and staying relaxed. Those two things have made my life better in many ways already. If you are considering it at all just call him. Trust me on this one

My "home" fitness studio is at TruFusion so it's great to switch things up a bit. I attended the full body conditioning on Monday evening and my instructor was Dorian. I introduced myself and told her it was my first class. She was very welcoming and gave a general explanation what I would be expecting with class. You start off with a light warm up and then she explained the different stations. You're either doing jump ropes, split squats, burpees etc. Our "break" was to take a run out in the back lot. Now THAT was challenging for me because I do not run nor do I enjoy running lol. The class was 45 minutes and that was perfect. There are plenty of different classes throughout the day so it's convenient to fit anyone's schedule.

He has a deadpan, understated sense of humor that brings a lightness to class while still keeping everything focused and intentional. He tells us why things are done in a certain way, which deepens my understanding. His teaching style is calm, clear, and very accessible, and he's always watching to make sure students get into postures safely. His attention to alignment and safety is excellent, and you can tell he genuinely cares about his students' well-being. Even though Iyengar can be very precise, Adam makes it feel approachable and supportive. His classes are thoughtful, well-paced, and consistently high quality. Having practiced yoga for over 20 years, this class is good for beginners and longtime yogis.

Coach Jay is an absolute standout and a huge asset to the studio. His energy, motivation, and attention to form elevate every class, and he has a way of pushing you to do more while still making you feel supported. Huge shout-out as well to Coaches Michael, Devany, and Abby -- each of them brings something unique, and together they create an encouraging, high-energy environment that keeps me coming back. I came here last week for a trial class, and unfortunately, this was not the type of class I was…read morehoping for. I left after just two stations/15 minutes. I was a bit grossed out by the "cleanliness" and the idea of lying down on the floor to stretch where people walk around in their shoes (there's so much nasty stuff from walking around outside!!). I was also under the impression/told this class was for all levels of fitness, but it seemed like it really didn't matter if we (the entire group) were literally of all different ages and levels of fitness or physique. I thought there would be more individual guidance for the movements we needed to do, but we were pretty much told (after the coach quickly explained each station), to go pick a station and get started. I wasn't sure if the positions I was standing in and sitting/squatting down in were correct or not. There's no way to see my reflection or have anyone who had experience tell me. One of the movements was to squat down while having one leg forward and across diagonally, so the knee is bent and at an angle, sort of like a curtsy position. I feel that because of that movement and not being told if I'm doing it correctly or not, I messed up my knee where I felt some sudden pain behind and around my knee area a couple days later. My vein specialist/doctor did an ultrasound on it today and saw that there's fluid in my knee that wasn't ever there before, and because of that it put pressure on another vein and caused it to "pop". He said it was probably due to straining and if the knee was twisted or at an angle. He mentioned that specifically before I ever said anything about trying out new exercises! Even despite my injury, my rating would probably be the same...the music was SO loud it was hurting my ears a bit, and I really did not want to be listening to club music. There's other music to work out to besides EDM. This just unfortunately and definitely was not what I was expecting based off of the business info and reviews I read up on.

This is a fantastic little Pilates studio!…read more I took the the Arms, Abs & Ass class via Classpass tonight with Sasha and it was wonderful. The best part was there was only one other person taking the class tonight. It felt like a private lesson! The only thing I would change is the intensity level. Many of the moves on the reformer did not feel challenging at all. This was fixed in a few of the moves by adding an additional spring. I strongly feel that all reformers classes should offer an intermediate level and an advanced level to students based on the resistance. Many reformer studios assume that all students are on the same level. This can get frustrating. Overall great class and nice instructor.

I've been going to Amy since 2010 and she is the best trainer I have ever had. However, i do love the other trainers there (Claire and Courtney), so if there is a sub, I always know I will still get top notch training. They also run small, boutique classes for 5 people at a time. It's like being in a semi private without the price of one. They have great variety of classes too - from Pure Reform, and jump board, to "arms, abs, and ass." During my private lessons they use a variety of props- even a trampoline to keep things challenging and fun. I highly recommended this studio!!
