Let me preface this: I am transferring from Bank of America. I already accept (with some defeat)…read morethat banks are blood-sucking fiends. That being said, I needed a new bank when I moved from California to Colorado. I tend to use bigger banks rather than smaller ones (which I do actually prefer) due to traveling. That being said, I went to Chase because it was close and convenient. The service I received was excellent. I had Kelly open the account with me and she was excellent. She was thorough about the account and was so friendly that I didn't feel uncomfortable or scared to ask about any concerns I had or about the fine print. I actually would feel comfortable to contact her directly if I had any problems or questions. In a time where most banks are on our bad list, it's nice to go somewhere and feel appreciated and help. I strongly appreciate a human connection and appreciation. While most people might not like this bank's policies, this branch is excellent.

No too much trouble... the millennial told me. But YOU can put them in wrappers in our lobby. He gave me a plastic thing and wrappers with a smile. I sat there while 5 employees watched and NO customers were in the bank. No one even looked my way or offered to help. Thats what we call modern day customer service. Bye bye Chase!

I don't have an account here. I work at a credit union down the street, so technically I"m a…read morecompetitor, and I have to say that the young people at this branch have phenomenal customer service. I was here to pay off a loan that was refinanced by my credit union and it seemed easier to just walk the check in than to send it off to a PO Box somewhere. When I walked in there was a greeter asking the reason for my visit, and when I explained, I was walked over to the line to speak to a teller. I think the teller might have been in training, because the young man behind her quickly stepped in to help with my somewhat unusual request. Then he involved the guy at the drive-up. To make a long story short, several people got involved in the transaction I needed to have done because it was out of the ordinary, but throughout the whole thing, everyone had a smile on their face and seemed happy to help find me the answer. They invited me to have a seat in their cozy lobby while they figured things out. In summary, I give the folks at this branch four stars for the amount of service they gave and their professional demeanor and positive attitude. Wells Fargo Bank itself probably deserves one star for the fact that they're a money-grubbing bank who fees its customers to death, but we'll leave that out of it for now and lean towards the employees at this branch who give amazing customer service. If it wasn't for the red tape they had to wade through to make the transaction happen, they would have gotten a solid 5.

Avoid this branch at all costs-they will leave you to wait and wait - even three employees putting their heads together cannot manage a simple task. Today was sort of the last straw with this branch: I was told by the blond lady in a red jacket that they would be right with me, which was fine. However, instead of helping me (there were many people behind the counter and I was the only person in line), one of the employees was dismissed (she clocked out and left the bank) and the red jacket ignored me and turned to another task. If you go to the downtown branch, the tellers are far more professional. If you need help with premier checking matters, it's probably best to go directly through your broker or switch to another bank altogether.

Wells Fargo has had some real problems with their national reputation lately but I have never had…read moreany problems locally. In fact, at the main location in Boulder, I have worked with a personal banker for several years who is probably the best I have dealt with at any bank, in decades. But the main location downtown on Pearl is not so easy to use for convenient quick access. However, Wells Fargo recently closed the convenience banking, drive up and ATM location near my home that I have used for decades. And sold the property. So it was time to research and find a new such location from their multiple other sites in town. I tried a few and this one turned out to be the best for me. The first two I tried were not satisfactory for me for various reasons, location access, my travel patterns and staff friendliness. This location was a good fit. It's right between Target and Trader Joe's, where I go all the time though quite a bit farther from home than my long term location. It's easy to park and use the ATM. And for a few items, I have needed to step in and use the tellers and I was immediately greeted, no lines at the tellers and everyone was friendly. And a bright clean decor. So this is the one for now.
