I have been coming here casually the last couple of months after being introduced to the studio with a free class pass from Lululemon in Brighton. I have since ditched my gym in favour of coming here, even though I am a bit of a newbie yogi and I'm not exactly skinny so I find it difficult to hold poses for too long, or get quite deep enough into some poses.
The teachers here are lovely - they are friendly, not afraid to adjust you, and give ample modifications for difficult poses.
The studio is really nice with lovely floorboards and big windows which overlook the bay - from a second floor perspective this is a great sight. Parking is free in a small lot about 100 metres down the street (street parking is only 1 hour and a little difficult to come by). Mat 'hire' is free if you don't have your own. Booking online is a breeze.
Some enjoyable extras include the green tea on offer to relax with or chat to other clients after class, but most of all I can't wait for my amazing smelling little lavender eye pillow to be paced over my eyes during savasana - sometimes when there are some tricky poses during class I set my mind on the lavender eye pillow I'll soon get to enjoy during savasana and it helps pull me through!
Classes are a bit on the expensive side but it is such a pleasant space to practise with helpful and friendly teachers (and those lavender eye pillows) so it makes it all worth it. read more
