He said it would gradually get better and I'd be able to return to normal activities within a few days (this was on Friday). I was skeptical since I still could feel the knot/strain, though range of motion had improved, after leaving his office. Later that night, I could feel it getting better and my mobility improving. The next day it was barely noticeable and by Monday, I was back to running and lifting weights. I look forward to continue to work with Great Basin for adjustments and overall injury prevention.

The doctor got mad at me for standing for a few more seconds than I should have, because I was reading some quotes they had on the wall... he harshly said to me: "You need to go over there!" When I woke up my neck was killing me and I needed to get adjusted. Thank heavens he was open on a Saturday! Before our trip I meant to visit my chiropractor where I live in SoCal but wasn't able to. During the exam he used a machine that kind of massaged my spine before he adjusted it. My doc back home doesn't use that but it felt really good. He adjusted me exactly where I needed it, and told me that the soft tissue would still be sore for a couple of days and that I'd need to massage it out.
