My husband got stung by some black bug in the domestic animal area so we were dealing with that. If you go to the gift shop, they had a first aid kit that you could access once you filled out an incident report so they did have sting wipes, hydrocortisone, and some other supplies that helped. The Park is laid out well you can see the entire thing in about two hours. There is a playground so you could stay longer if you wish and it looked like they do allow you to bring in your own food for a picnic. The kids had a great time and we did see some animals that we haven't traditionally seen such as the Asian monkeys, they were absolutely beautiful I love the fact that they do rescue animals and care for them! I will comment on the pricing of the train and the carousel as we are members of the Phoenix zoo and this pricing seems exorbitant- the cost is less at a major metro area in Phoenix than it is for this train ride, and as you can see from my photos, it was mostly empty! Maybe bring that price down so kids can enjoy it how's you're going to be driving around - anyway why drive it empty? There are seven of us in our party so it would've been almost $34 for a quick train ride, please do the math for families and try to make this more affordable. Same with the carousel ride, $4.50 per person, ouch!
