Before we booked, we had a free consultation with him and he made sure to ask all the right questions to get a good feel of what we wanted to do for our wedding dance: what kind of music we liked, what our experience is, what kind of dress I was wearing, etc. He even offered to remix some songs together if we didn't have a single song in mind. He wanted to make sure that we were comfortable with whatever dance happened. He's also Italian and we're having our wedding in Italy, so it felt like fate to meet him! We ended up booking 10 lessons with Giovanni. After we decided on a song, within the first lesson, we already had a good 30 seconds choreographed. He was patient with us both, as neither of us had dance experience, and he really listened to us on what we were comfortable doing. He also shortened our song choice so that our first dance was within a reasonable timeframe. Within 4 lessons, our entire dance was choreographed! We spent the rest of the lessons perfecting, tweaking, and refining every possible moment! It really put us at ease for when we finally hit the dance floor. Another really awesome thing about Giovanni is that since he does a lot of weddings, he is always thinking about a number of things to make sure that the dance is beautiful, but also that the photos captured are perfect! He took a lot of videos for us so we can watch and practice at home. He also made sure to tell us when we'd have good "photo moments" where we should perfect our poses for the quick moment our photographer will have to snap a pic. And he even recommended sending a video to our photographer with recommendations on photo moments, so the photographer can get familiar with the dance ahead of time. In general, Giovanni is so kind, patient, and incredibly fun to be around and we cannot recommend him enough as a wedding dance instructor!!

Savoir Faire played my wedding reception and brought it to another level. Early on we knew we wanted a band, but were unsure we could afford it and and were really nervous about picking the right one. We wanted a band that felt contemporary, had a lot of range and could really put on a good show. We filtered through hundreds on gigmasters and partypop.com. We narrowed it down to about a dozen that we contacted and actually went and heard 3 live to get a feel for what was behind the mp3's. Stu stood out from the beginning. He has been in the business for a long time, is well known and liked by many other vendors (our caterer - who was also amazing - knew him well and gave the thumbs up). He made us feel comfortable right away, first offering to meet us just to help us get to know him, the process and the opportunity better. He could be a wedding planner himself. He knows the show inside and out. Stu had ideas on the timeline, flow, music and how he would keep our party going. After talking with him I knew these guys were going to bring a show that would be like I was dreaming about. Savoir Faire will make your night. They have such range, know how to read a crowd and can get everyone up on the dance floor. They were able to play songs from Tony Bennett (father/daughter dance) to Bon Jovi and current dance hits. Unbelievable. Their performance was flawless. Stu MC'd the entire evening, sounded incredibly pro (I can't even explain how cool it was that it didn't come across cheesy - he made the whole evening seem so polished). The band rocked it. GlassHouse is a beautiful venue with a modern feel that allows one to plan for a great event. But all of that comes with a cost. Dealing with the management who run the place will make your planning a nightmare. My wife and I very recently got married at the GlassHouse. It ended up being a beautiful event and a wonderful party. However what should have been smooth planning turned out not to be due to new management coming in. They caused unwarranted stress, charged additional excessive costs, and ultimately were not pleasant to work with. Right before our wedding, it felt as if they were trying to make it unsuccessful by their actions. We will never forget our wedding. It was a memorable and a once in a lifetime event. She was super honest and open about anything we asked, providing solutions to concerns, and the day worked out exactly as she described. We had a 165 person wedding, and was worried about it feeling cramped but it honestly felt very roomy and comfortable for moving around and dancing. There was enough room for all the chairs, tables, and even had a nice space for vendor table! The included tables and chairs saved us time and money, and we loved how our other vendors raved about the venue too--it made coordinating everything so much easier. The bartenders really impressed us with their skill, and those signature cocktails were delicious even though drinks came at a premium price. However, right after the ceremony, Chrissy immediatley found the bride and groom to give us our signature drinks, and even gave one to the nervous parents. It was such a personal touch that we will remember forever. Being in San Pedro Square, parking was a breeze at only 10 dollars for the whole day, and a easy spot to Uber to. We had a world cup watch party coinciding with our day, but the team proactivley warned us and helped us have alternatives on communicating with guests to make sure everyone made it smoothly. I booked the twins for my proposal and they went above and beyond to make sure they set up the perfect hallmark movie esque backdrop setting for a proposal. They really made it seem like it was out a fairly tale movie. The communication throughout the whole process was excellent. They had so much flexibility with all the location changes due to weather and sent so many recommendations. They made such an overwhelming and stressful planning time feel so easy. They stood out in the rain to play the song we requested and even took some photos for me with our phone. We had a photographer but the fact they offered to take pictures was so nice. They even went above and above and gave my now fiancée a huge bundle of roses that was so nice and sweet of them!
