Because the situation felt so off, I went to another dentist just two hours later for a second opinion. They had no idea what this office was talking about and they kindly listened to my concerns and the reason I made my appointment and serviced me. Today I received my third if not fourth crown at this office. There's a reason I keep coming back…read more First and foremost, I would like to keep all my teeth! But right up there at the top of my list, is the way I am treated at this office. Everybody is friendly, kind and patient. All those things you look for in a dentist office. I had an appointment to get my permanent crown and then the pandemic hit. Everybody closed down. So of course my appointment was canceled. Once they re-opened, I felt that I should wait until the people who had more pressing issues were seen since my crown was doing just fine. Cut to a little over a year later... my temporary crown is still hanging on! If that isn't a testament to good work, I don't know what is!!!! I was waiting for the little crown that could to put up a fight when it was being taken out.. Plink!! Popped right out! (thank God it didn't happen when I was eating! Lol) I now have my lovely new tooth and I am good to go until June when we rescue my front tooth! Thanks for the great service again Welch Dentistry!!! Update: it is now July 2026. I am still going to Welch dentistry. I went for a couple years without insurance and things are happening. I broke off a chunk of my molar a week before vacation. I called them up at 3:30 on a Wednesday afternoon and they got me in at 8 AM on Thursday morning. I requested to have the work done when I got back from vacation so he did a temporary fix to get me by. Today I had my crown done. He told me I might need a root canal, but we wouldn't know until we got there. But they did send in a pre-authorization to my insurance to see how much I would end up paying so there was no surprise. The only surprise was, he said I did not need the root canal which made me super happy. So don't think for one minute they just bill you for stuff you don't need. A lot of damage has happened in two years unfortunately so I will be going there probably once every other month until the end of the year. But that's OK. I'm glad I have the insurance again and I'm able to go back to them because I'd rather go nowhere than not go to them. Once you find a dentist, you trust, you stay there. I completely trust these people.. I trust them to do the work and do the work right, I also trust that they will not do unnecessary work just to bill me. I have never had a problem with any of their work. Quite honestly, I think that sometimes people may not listen to instruction, and that is why they lose crowns or fillings or things like that. I was told not to go crazy with my water pick, and not to eat crunchy or sticky food with my crown right now. She also said do not avoid it either or I can make the tissue get inflamed. They did not submit the proper X-rays initially for the procedure and did a procedure that insurance does not approve of and then they just dump all the responsibility onto the patient. The insurance required a professional dentist to justify the procedure they chose and they refused to work with the insurance to get the approval. They flat out don't care who pays. The dentist is a nice guy but beyond that, it is a total disaster. Also very difficult to get anyone on the phone and even after leaving voicemails, they don't call back sometimes too

Relaxing while I wait but usually I don't wait long. Approx 5-15 mins Dr Le and his team are friendly, professional and efficient. He's the only dentist I know that would administer anesthesia and then ask if I feel any pain when he start working on me and stop to give me more anesthesia if I still feel pain. That's how a dentist should be!! I can't tell you how many dentists I've had in the past who starts drilling my teeth without asking if I feel any pain so I'm gripping my chair til my knuckles are white and bear the pain no matter how slight. Communication is the key. Dr Le definitely communicate with his patients and I thank him greatly for that. That's what keeps me coming back for years. Also altho he had a change of receptionist the girls, are always friendly and professional and very accommodating. They will squeeze you in if there's space. They called me to go in when someone cancelled and they almost always call to remind me of my appointment at least a day prior. Good job girls! Worst dentures ever! I had to give one star but I used the real numbers below…read more The good: the staff is nice and friendly. The bad: just about everything else. Time Spent: Minus 10. I went into Edge Dental for my 4th pair of dentures. So I know the process. What I got was 4 months of trying to make the worst fitting dentures I've ever had actually be usable. I even thought they might have given me someone else's! After numerous trips into the office with still no progress, they finally made an appt for one of their technicians to meet with me. It took him seconds to see what the problem was. The teeth had been set in a thick layer so that they were literally too large for me. The tech fixed them, but I had the whole fitting process to do again.. Unlike every other fitting I've ever had, this place didn't use the white stuff to show where trouble spots were. I finally gave up making a long drive in. I used my nail buffer to carefully fix the set bit by bit. Over 4 months and finally had to fix them myself. Quality: minus 8. I have always had very well-made dentures. I replaced them to get better alignments and not because they broke. These are made from sub-standard materials compared to all my previous sets. There is minor marveling near where the teeth and gum section meet. I'm expecting full cracks at any time now. Not even 18 months has gone by. Appearance: Minus 7. I mentioned that the teeth themselves seemed overly large for my mouth. they looked more like men's teeth. My concerns were brushed away. Even when I showed the difference with my old set. No one felt it was worth their time to ensure my teeth looked good. Overall: this set has to last me a few years yet. I'm not at all sure they will. They are not worth the money I had to spend. If you need dentures and want a good look with good durability, skip this place.
