I have lived in NYC and LA, I have to get an Iced Americano to wake up, and there is no better place that I have gotten one combined with superior, friendly service than ELEVATE! Everything here is fantastic - the menu, the staff, the setup. We go here every weekend, sometimes twice. I tell everyone to try Elevate! I love the lotus energy drinks - strawberry watermelon is my current favorite, but the staff members always have suggestions if you aren't sure what to get. Everyone is genuinely happy to be at work and you're treated like friends every time you go. SO much faster than coffee chains, even when there are a few cars in line. I only wish that Elevate was on the way to work for me. I would be there every day! I hope this place is around forever. read more

Really awesome coffee's, and they have oat milk as an option! They were super friendly and helpful with any questions that I had. I got the Mamakope latte with oat milk and half sweetener (just personal preference for me), and it was delicious! Don't let the size of Elevate fool you - they offer a cup of coffee that puts recognizable chains to shame. I initially had a love-hate relationship with Elevate - I loved the prospect of a new coffee spot in the neighborhood, and I hated driving past every day seeing they still weren't open (given current circumstances, they easily get a pass on this one). After their grand opening, I can say that we strictly have a love-love relationship now. Great coffee! Speedy service too. However, I was a bit bummed when I tipped more than 2x what my order cost (as I sometimes do close to holidays as a way of saying an extra thank you- from one service industry worker to the next) but didn't receive a single thank you from the woman who took the money. Not a word. I wasn't expecting any special praise of course, but a simple thank you would've been nice. I will return as coffee was great but will not be tipping like that again unfortunately. The best latte I've had in months! I haven't written a review in ages, but Elevate Coffee inspired me to come back and share for several reasons. The bottom line is this: my husband and I had the best lattes we've had all year--and I'm not one to exaggerate. But when I find something good, in addition to good people, I like to share about it. I also love supporting independent businesses that are creating something awesome, and I really want this business to succeed and grow. I have no doubt given the quality of coffee and service that I received that they will do well. Here's what you need to know about Elevate Coffee: 1. The owners chose a great location to serve a community severely lacking in quality coffee and independent coffee shops. (Yes, there are a few Starbucks around, but they're neither convenient for me nor do I think they're very good. Starbucks lost my love and loyalty when they moved away from hand-pulling their shots. It's just never been the same. I always prefer independent coffee shops.) 2. The owners moved here from the Pacific Northwest--so they know coffee. (I'm also a recent transplant from Seattle and the West Coast, so this was especially awesome from my perspective.) Elevate opened just a month ago, in the middle of a pandemic. Impressive! 3. Elevate is drive-thru only, consisting of a tiny, adorable yellow-and-white striped coffee stand or food trailer--perfect for these Covid times. There are two driveway entrances to their location, and two drive-up windows on either side of the stand. With their yellow-and-white motif, they are like a little ray of sunshine. They've done a lot with very little. 4. Most of their specialty drinks are named for mountain peaks. So far, I've only had their latte--lavender, to be specific. Note: This item is not on their menu, but when I saw that they were serving lavender lemonade, I asked if I could have a lavender latte, and they were happy to oblige. The espresso was so smooth, it did not have the acidity, the bite, the burnt taste, nor the chemical aftertaste that can sometimes happen with either lesser-quality beans or poorly pulled shots. It was my version of perfect, smooth, and full without being overbearing. And although I chose a lavender syrup, it was not overly or sickeningly sweet, which can also kill a good latte. Admittedly, I ordered the lavender because I didn't yet know their level of quality, and sometimes a syrup can help cover a multitude of coffee sins. Next time, I might skip the calories and just try their basic latte, as it has its own level of natural sweetness. (Then again, I love lavender everything and I might have just started a personal addiction.) I'm also curious what kinds of beans they use. I'll have to ask next time. Whatever they are, they appear to be wonderfully sourced and roasted. 5. Elevate has a loyalty card, and also a system that will text discounts and specials when you sign up. 6. They also serve non-coffee items along with a few simple breakfast options for something quick and on-the-go, none of which I have tried. 7. It seems like they've put a good deal of thought into their business, which I really appreciate. I love their name, their logo, their clever names for menu items, their thoughtful location, keeping overhead small and going bigger on product quality and service. Well done. Noticed over the past few months that something was coming to the neighborhood, (the sign outside might have announced it as well:). Finally decided to try it today, and was so glad I did. Had a Candy Pecan Latte, and absolutely loved it! The servers were both very friendly and personable.. Although it's less than a mile from the nearest Starbucks, it can certainly compete, because the drink I had, was very flavorful and not just "run of the mill" which Starbucks can often be. I stopped by this convenient little stand while trucking from Seattle, WA to Charlotte, NC. It was the perfect pick me up I needed before driving the last 400 miles of my trip.
