I have attended the seminar, Refuse To Be A Victim, by Pureland Security that is the NRA division of Elephant Mountain and really enjoyed it! I participated in Pure Beginner Gun Class and learned more than I knew I was capable of learning, shot well, it was a real step growing in firearms. To get my ccp I went to the Defensive Pistol Refresher and got a great certificate, took it to the Sherriff's Office, put my fingerprints in for background check and soon my permit arrived. The Defensive Pistol Refresher really digs into defensive capability and knowledge. The review of Colorado use of force law opened my eyes in many ways. This is a fun class and I always felt safe while learning to become a whole lot more dangerous to the enemy. We shot a lot of rounds under the sky that was very blue. This is a special kind of being outdoors that harkens back to our heritage of freedom. What I really like about Elephant Mountain Firearms Training is that through professional kindness you get the teeth and the tough without paramilitary, condescension or intimidation. Having tackled many learning challenges, in order to share with others good news for their safety and security, through Elephant Mountain in September of 2011, I achieved my National Rifle Association Certified Firearm Instructor- Pistol Certification.
