Definitely not "Brand New" condition and not playable. You would think an Authorized G&L Dealer that lists a guitar as "Brand New" would be more agreeable to resolve this situation, but Infinity Guitars was completely unwilling. Also pretty unresponsive. This was not an instrument sold in "as is" condition. So we're stuck with an expensive fix. Sadly, with our limited expertise this was discovered outside the return window (of 2 days!) BUYER BEWARE. Instrument was not as listed.

She is very professional and knows when to push my son. My six year old son has learned a lot in less than a year and we are very pleased. The front desk is always welcoming and nice, we've missed Judy since we changed our lesson dates to Saturday. I ordered the throne Thursday afternoon and asked it to be shipped to a different address from my billing address, and within 1/2 hour of placing the online order, I received a phone call from Eric asking me to confirm that was my intention. Then he shipped the box from Houston, TX that same day, about an hour later (Thursday afternoon), and I received it Sunday in California. I mean, what company do you know other than Amazon processes your order that quickly? This will be my go to place for drum equipment. I was a bit hesitant placing the order online with a company I've never heard of, but this business is legit. It beats out Guitar Center and Sweetwater in price and customer service.

It was definitely sketchy and cars won't slow down! That's on me though. Upon walking up, it does not seem like much from the outside but right when you walk in, you see a really cool DW kit set up. Walking a bit more you see a wall of drumsticks (see picture) and they seem to have a good selection of them although no prices labeled anywhere. The main room is full of DW kits but none really that you can try out. The one e-kit even has a sign saying to let the staff know if you want to try it out. The staff there also just did not acknowledge me even when walking by them twice. It definitely does not feel like a welcoming environment.

Two stars for voice lessons. I think the piano instruction is likely very good - at least their…read morestudents seem to be able to play the piano well. For voice, not as good. I don't know if the instructor thought that my child had been warming up her voice prior to the lessons, but at some point she started using the first 15 minutes of the lesson conversing about random topics unrelated to voice instruction (as in cats) with my child and dramatically shortening the length of her vocal warm ups. When my child, who is a professional actor/singer (member of Actors Equity Association) received sheet music for a production that she had been cast in, the instructor refused to help her learn it, telling me: "you don't tell me what music to teach her." I think that Houston Music Institute would be fine for children who are just beginning to learn to sing, but if your child already has some training under his/her belt or is looking to perform in any kind of musical theater production, I recommend you look elsewhere as this is not the place to do that.
