Mary was the BEST thing that happened to my wedding AND my mental health! Every single time there was a problem she took care of it and told me I did not need to worry - which happened a LOT because we got married on a Navy base and their security office was a nightmare. She went to bat for me and I never had to worry once about whether things would be okay. She also did the florals, ordered rentals (chairs, table cloths, dinnerware, decorations), and did the day of coordition with her additional team members -she did it all. Her entire vision was me being happy and doing whatever I wanted in my wedding. I texted, called, emailed all the time for a 2 year period of random things I wanted to do and she made it happen no question. She is a timeline master and worked with all my vendors to make sure we were on the same page. She is the type of person when she talks, people listen. And trust me you want that person working for you! She let me put her phone number on my wedding website so that all the guests contacted her with their questions and problems so that I wouldn't get them. She arranged transportation for me. She also planned my entire rehearsal dinner at The Islander in Coronado because my in-laws were an across the country! She has done sooo many weddings and she can show you pictures of ideas from what she's done in the past if you don't know what you want. Mary was born for this role and the best thing I ever did was choose her as my wedding planner. I couldn't have imagined doing it without her. I'll tell you what - even my guests starting chanting "MARY! MARY!! MARY!!!" at my reception when I thanked her in my speech! Everyone loves her. If you want a stylish and seamless wedding, hire her!

We were recommended Mary Bowerman by The Point in Mission Bay. Mary was our Florist and Day-of-coordinator for our wedding ceremony and reception on June 17th. Mary was very helpful and organized all the way up to the wedding. She was able to help us build and execute our vision and perfect wedding day. Our day could have been chaos if we didn't have her! She was an amazing and inspiring individual to work with and we would HIGHLY recommend her for your floral & day-of-coordinator needs!

My husband and I eloped and decided to have our small ceremony at the Kona Kai San Diego Resort. Mary Bowerman is the officiant and wedding planner they partner with and we absolutely couldn't have pictured our special day without her. From the moment we met, Mary just has this beautiful energy, a genuine sense of love and understanding for all her clients. We felt an immediate connection with her. She loves her job so much that she underwent surgery days before our ceremony and still made sure everything would be ready (luckily her surgery went very well and she was well rested, assured us she wanted to be present). God bless because it truly felt as if family was officiating our ceremony. Since then, we've kept in touch with her and are even inviting her to our baby shower. Mary is AMAZING and we would highly recommend her!

Mary and her team are INCREDIBLE! From our initial consultation with her, we knew she was highly experienced, professional, and knew what she was doing. Throughout the process, she met with us in person several times before our wedding day, and held additional phone calls to make sure all details and timelines were up to date. Mary is detail-oriented, thorough, and so knowledgeable about the wedding industry/wedding day and she made our day so special and seamless! Our venue, the Coronado Community Center, is only a venue and we needed to hire all of our vendors separately. Mary was instrumental in making sure all the vendors were on the same page, before and during our wedding day. I had Mary's team set up all of the centerpiece we brought, and they did a fantastic job and made it look even more beautiful than I could have imagined. Like most brides, I have dreamed of my wedding day FORVER and I have to say, BECAUSE of Mary and her crew, they made that day happen for us! Trying to plan a wedding during a pandemic was a complete joke. We went thru 3 completely different venues, which then had 3 different plans. The process of being let down by each of these venues Covid restrictions, felt so defeating, and I can honestly say this magical day would not have happened without Mary and her team. When I look back on the planning of three different venues (which then felt like we had planned 3 different weddings at that point) leading up to the day, I am BEYOND thankful that Mary was there from the start. People say, " leave it to the professional"... and that is MARY! This is her field, her passion, and my goodness she knows how to make these things go off flawlessly. Not only does she know the ins and outs of weddings, her personal support and encouragement is an added gift in her being apart of this process. She was ALWAYS there in a second to ensure she was going to make it happen, and was calm and comforting through ALL the chaos of venue changing. One thing that stands out that I really appreciated from Mary is she NEVER left you hanging. Her communication was spot on, and response times in emails/text was fantastic, which made me feel secure in the planning. The communication with the other people involved was great, with timelines so everyone was kept in the loop! Mary knows the little details that I had no idea needed to be taken care of, and that is where I know I had the best help I could have ever asked for. The FLOWERS! They were amazing. With all the venue changes, flowers and table decor were the last things on my mind. To be honest, I had forgotten the vision of what I had even asked Mary and her team to create, because at this point, I just wanted a wedding to happen! But oh my goodness, when Mary arrived at the hotel to drop off my bouquet it literally took my breathe away! It was the most gorgeous arrangement I had ever seen, and even better than the pictures I had given her of what I wanted it to look like! When we arrived at the reception room, we were blown away at the details I had originally forgotten I had asked, were there... and it was brought to life... it was AMAZING! The colors and the layout was MORE than I could have ever imagined. We loved the details of our sweetheart table and so many guests commented on how gorgeous everything looked. Like I previously said, this day would NOT have happened without the encouragement and planning by Mary! She restored my excitement for the wedding by creating the best day I've dreamed of my whole life. I still can't believe we made it happen and I still can't stop smiling at how perfect of a day it was! We can't Thank you enough for being there through every step and little detail that do make all the difference in creating a day that we will never forget! I wish we could have the wedding all over again!

We hired Mary as our wedding coordinator for our wedding at Oceanview Room in Point Loma. This was a destination wedding for my now husband and I since we live on the east coast. Mary's knowledge of our venue (on a military base) was instrumental in making helpful recommendations that we would have otherwise overlooked. One key recommendation was about the tablecloths and how they would look much nicer if done a certain way (not the way the base would typically have done it). She was absolutely right! Something that we didn't observe, but experienced was how much she was doing behind the scenes. As I was about to walk down the aisle with my Dad, I vaguely recall someone fluffing my dress to make it look wonderful......when I saw the wedding video I learned that it was Mary. We didn't have to make a single decision on our wedding day because Mary was so available to us to plan leading up to it. We simply were able to experience our amazing day while she managed and coordinated everything. We give our highest recommendation for Mary and her crew!

We were connected with Mary/Elements of Style through the coordinator at our wedding venue - and we feel so lucky that we were! Mary was our officiant & florist and she was excellent at both. She sent us ceremony options to choose from and we were able to work with her to add our own vows/personalize them. On the day of, she and her crew made sure everything ran smoothly and our ceremony was beautiful. Mary & crew were both professional and personable. Highly recommended.

Mary and her team made my wedding an absolute fairytale. Mary truly thought of every detail- from the gorgeous flowers to the beautiful welcome table to the schedule of the events which ran so smoothly. She met with us several times before the wedding to make sure that all of our desires were met, and we would have the best day of our lives. Mary even came to our wedding rehearsal the day before at the church to make sure we had everything we needed for the big day, even though the church already had a coordinator too. At cocktail hour and the reception, Mary and her team greeted all of our guests and made sure that everyone was taken care of. Before my new husband and I made our grand entrance, Mary came up to the bridal ready room to help adjust my husband's boutonniere and give us words of encouragement before greeting all of our guests. Mary was absolutely amazing and key to making our wedding day as beautiful and perfect as it was. She helped with literally everything! So kind and even officiated our wedding. She brought my vision to life. I worked very hard picking everything and she really understood our needs. Would recommend any bride to her! My Husband and I had the absolute pleasure of hiring Elements of Style for our wedding on May 20th 2018. We had Mary do month of coordination and she also doubled as our florist. My husband and I always knew that our wedding would be a little different and unique, not too traditional and that it would take a special coordinator to make it happen, and Mary and her team delivered on every single level. Our wedding was absolute perfection!! Mary and her team took our ideas and implemented them flawlessly. They have impeccable communication skills and Mary is some sort of wizard when it comes to making flower arrangements. What made our wedding a little trickier than most was that our ceremony took place at Cuvier Park (The Wedding Bowl) in La Jolla with a quick turn around for our reception at the Coronado Community Center on Coronado Island. Needless to say two venues had to essentially be set up and taken down within hours of each other which also included coordinating multiple vendors at both locations. The results for both locations were amazing. Mary and her team took our blueprints and made them reality. On the day of our wedding we had nothing to worry about as we knew our wedding was in great hands. And our guests are still raving about how much fun they had even though it has now been a couple months since the wedding. If you're looking for a coordinator and/or florist who can make your wildest wedding dream come true (and even better than you imagined) there is no need to look further. Mary takes so much time and care into everything you ask for. I remember her saying "Just call me at anytime if you have any questions", and at one point my then Fiance and I were on the phone with her at 12:30 at night answering some of our concerns. People can go the extra mile in their work, when Mary goes the extra mile and then just keeps on going. She and her team are wonderful, and if you have made it this far in this review you have just found your wedding coordinator, so stop reading and contact Mary and her team today!!!

Mary was truly our Guardian Angel for our wedding. We hosted a weekday small summer wedding at Paradise Point Resort and Spa, San Diego, CA. The Event & Sales Department referred my event to Mary. Mary was our one stop shop: Ordained Minister Mentor, Event Coordinator, DJ, & Florist. Leading up to the wedding, my husband and I were extremely busy with work and school. We were definitely not the couple that had our wedding plans all thought out nor did we have the time to plan out the details. Mary was so flexible with our work schedule. We had to reschedule our initial consultation twice. Finally when we could chat, we appreciated Mary acknowledging our craziness of a lifestyle and offered to make our wedding planning process super simple for us. She organized a fill in form, where my husband and I filled it out late at night regarding what we wanted. Our answers were definitely one note. For example: What type of flower would we like? Our Answer: Red Mary responds with options: roses, carnations... Our Answer: whichever you think is best :) I was not the bride who bought all the wedding magazines and hand picked all the styles I wanted, but Mary truly executed a wedding as though I did pick it out of a wedding magazine. See: Nick & Sarah Castillo Wright Wedding We assure you, Mary is the best of the best. She is knowledgeable, organized, and above everything, has a golden heart. My husband and I are definitely procrastinators, and informed Mary of many last minute wedding things however Mary ran with it and executed everything our hearts desired for our special day. She wanted to make sure our wedding was special, enjoyable, and memorable...and she definitely achieved that. Please don't hesitate and move forward with locking a date with her ASAP.

I didn't want your average bouquets and asked to add in things you normally wouldn't see in a bridal bouquet. She completely understood my vision and had really great ideas to add. She was excited about creating the arrangements and made me feel completely confident that I was going to get what I wanted. The morning of the wedding when the flowers were delivered I was completely blown away at how perfect they turned out. They were all even more beautiful than I could have imagined and were so unique. They were definitely one of my favorite things about that day! Sarah and her mom Linda were so helpful and accommodating. They were attentive to my price range and were helpful in getting me what I wanted at a price that I needed :) I had some last minute changes that I called about and they were more than happy to help. They are both so sweet and were genuinely happy and excited for me. I do not have enough good things to say about L&S, from their service to their beautiful flowers, they are amazing!...seriously, use them!

I'm so happy to see Sarah open a brick and mortar location. She's done the design for numerous events and campaigns at my company- all wonderful. She has the great ability to illustrate your vision, be it whimsical or professionally clean and crisp. Not to mention, she's a pleasure to work with. This ability with the combination of her mother's decades of event planning for the Coronado Hyatt is truly inspired!

After agreeing on a design, I was so excited to book with Las Kwatro Hermanas. I had reached out to…read morethem on a recommendation of a friend who was using them for a school fundraiser. I paid the deposit after agreeing on a design and confirming date/ time/ location. Although the invoice says final payment is due 24 hours before the event, they asked me to pay in full several days early (so I did). After that, they changed my design and sent a new design mock-up to me on THE MORNING of my event. I was told it was due to an accident. What could I say? I had already paid in full and my party was in a few hours. Payment is via zelle so there was no purchase protection. The colors of my backdrop changed, lights changed, colors and amounts of flowers, and much more changed. They didn't fulfill my order that included additional lights on two of the stands and a photobooth with personalized frame. My name was misspelled on the frame- If she didn't say she would fix it, this would be less irritating. But she told me she'd fix it quickly. It has been a week since my birthday party and still not fixed. She then left the set up and said she'd come back to finish my lights before my party then didn't. She instead texted me that she was in Vista and wouldn't be coming back. She also was going to come move my photo booth for the dance portion of my event then didn't. I'm unsure why she'd promise a customer something, then not follow through. Then ghost me after the event when I'm asking for a finished photos product. The frames still are solid white, no design. It was my 50th Birthday let down. All the while posting on Instagram all of the other events they are doing. It's not good customer service. Didn't offer me any consolation or discount for the many last minute changes and for not following through on the photos that she said she would. I paid $750 for a backdrop and photo booth that was supposed to have a personalized photo frame. So much changed, it felt like it was handing someone $750 and just taking whatever they gave me. Not fair. I would not recommend.

She sent mock-ups a few weeks in advance so you know exactly what she will deliver. She even printed our event logo to place on the backdrop as an added touch of customization. Her backdrop and balloons matched our theme perfectly and the kids had a blast!
