I paid the deposit after agreeing on a design and confirming date/ time/ location. Although the invoice says final payment is due 24 hours before the event, they asked me to pay in full several days early (so I did). After that, they changed my design and sent a new design mock-up to me on THE MORNING of my event. I was told it was due to an accident. What could I say? I had already paid in full and my party was in a few hours. Payment is via zelle so there was no purchase protection. The colors of my backdrop changed, lights changed, colors and amounts of flowers, and much more changed. They didn't fulfill my order that included additional lights on two of the stands and a photobooth with personalized frame. My name was misspelled on the frame- If she didn't say she would fix it, this would be less irritating. But she told me she'd fix it quickly. It has been a week since my birthday party and still not fixed. She then left the set up and said she'd come back to finish my lights before my party then didn't. She instead texted me that she was in Vista and wouldn't be coming back. She also was going to come move my photo booth for the dance portion of my event then didn't. I'm unsure why she'd promise a customer something, then not follow through. Then ghost me after the event when I'm asking for a finished photos product. The frames still are solid white, no design. It was my 50th Birthday let down. All the while posting on Instagram all of the other events they are doing. It's not good customer service. Didn't offer me any consolation or discount for the many last minute changes and for not following through on the photos that she said she would. I paid $750 for a backdrop and photo booth that was supposed to have a personalized photo frame. So much changed, it felt like it was handing someone $750 and just taking whatever they gave me. Not fair. I would not recommend.

Unfortunately, I would not recommend Magic Jump Rentals based on our experience…read more Our party started at 11am, and before booking I specifically asked what time I should schedule delivery to make sure the bounce house was ready when guests arrived. I was told one hour before the party, so I followed their recommendation and scheduled delivery for 10am. At 10:10am, with no one there, I called to ask for an update. The person I spoke with was incredibly rude and said she would try to reach the driver and call me back. Twenty minutes later, I still had not heard anything, so I called again. At that point I was told that I had signed terms and conditions allowing them a much larger window to arrive. After the fact, I actually went back and read the 9 page agreement. It does say that the company is not responsible for delivery and pickup delays, but I could not find the larger delivery window I was told on the phone that I had agreed to. Regardless, I had specifically asked their staff what time I should schedule delivery for an 11am party and followed the one hour recommendation they gave me. The bounce house finally arrived at 10:54am, six minutes before the party started. Thankfully it got set up, but having no idea whether the main attraction for a children's birthday party would even be there when guests arrived made an already hectic morning incredibly stressful. The setup was also poorly thought out. Both the blower and generator were positioned facing directly toward the party area, making that entire side so loud that it was difficult to have a conversation. We ended up having to reposition things ourselves just to make the space usable. Pickup was scheduled for 3pm, and unfortunately the communication was no better. No one arrived, my repeated calls went to voicemail because the line was "busy," and I received no response to the voicemail I left. Eventually the driver called and said he was still 17 minutes away. At that point I had a baby and toddler who needed to get home, so I told him I could no longer wait, and he said that was fine. A few days later, I received an email notifying me that they had issued a partial refund because of the experience. I genuinely appreciate that they acknowledged there was a problem and provided a partial refund. However, considering everything that happened, I think a phone call and an apology would have gone a long way. The bounce house itself was fine. The issue was the service, communication, and reliability surrounding it. There are plenty of rental companies to choose from, and based on this experience, I would choose a different one next time.
