Initially I had a massage membership but never found time to carve out one hour a month to get relaxed. 6 months later, I cancelled because I was unimpressed. I was feeling stressed and spoke to my massage therapist and he addressed my concerns. I got a 90 minute deep tissue with Josh. He provided the perfect massage and is a genius at his craft. I am consistently tense/tight in the shoulders, upper back, and neck areas. Josh is very attentive in applying the adequate pressure needed to break up all of my knots. (Trust me... There are A LOT) He addresses points of stress and works through knots to alleviate any tightness or kinks. He also allows you to enjoy the experience, even when applying deep pressure. Josh genuinely cares for his clients and gives the best service possible. He makes sure that his clients are fully relaxed and treated when finished even if it means working a few minutes extra. I canceled my membership and the manager failed to explain to me the process. She also filled out the rest of the form with dates and did not give it to me to review which resulted in my initials not being on the form. I found out this issue by checking my bank account and requesting my cancellation form through email. I was upset and I apologized to the lady who sits at the desk because it was not her fault. It's the person who receives the form responsibility to ensure effective communication and ensure the form is completely filled out. Sara signed my form. I purchased a massage for my girlfriend on groupon. I called the location to make an appointment and spoke with the very friendly & helpful Monica. She was able to fit the appointment for the following day, which was her birthday. Her masseuse was Carlos, who specialized in deep tissue (her preference). She said he was very professional, asking questions only in the beginning of their session to ensure she would be able to enjoy the rest of the massage peacefully. She was provided with water at a comfortable seating area after the massage. They gave her a goodie bag with bath salts, lip gloss and a Talyor Swift perfume stick. I had a TWO HOUR massage today with Emily and she didn't even massage my entire body. She skipped my quads, shins and feet. Maybe she thought I had fallen asleep and wouldn't notice she didn't massage my entire body. I booked a 2 hour session to ensure there was enough time to work out all my knots while allowing ample time to complete everything without rushing. I even added the hot stones to assist with releasing tension. She spent an enormous amount of time on my back which probably needed it but I expect a professional to use time management. After massaging my shoulders with me on my back for an exorbitant amount of time, she said...you have 15 mins left, is there anything else you want me to work on? YES!!! Beware. Elements massage has many locations, but apparently operate independently of each other. My wife and I received a groupon to Element Massage for our wedding present and we were excited to get massages prior to going on our honeymoon over my wife's birthday. We tried to book an appointment at the Galleria location but were informed it went out of business. The Pearland location was suggested so we planned a night around that. We got our massages only to find out that they would not honor our prepaid groupons and they made us pay in full again. If your are going to have multiple businesses with the same name, you should have a plan in place if a location goes under. If you want a good massage experience that lives up to its name, please do your research and look for an experience elsewhere. read more

From the outside, it really doesn't look much and, honestly, I've never seen this place before. However, once you step inside, the change is almost immediate. The colours of the interior has a calming effect and the customer service was quite excellent. She greeted us with a smile and guided us first-timers on what to do next. The actual massage was better than I imagined and I almost fell asleep during the session too! The masseuse had to wake me up so the next customer could enjoy his/her time in the room (or possibly falling asleep like I did!). To top off their already awesome service, the receptionist gave both my husband and I bottled waters. It was a good thing too because apparently getting a good massage equates to being thirsty as heck. I came here because of the listing on Groupon. I was so happy that the staff in the front were very nice and helpful. I was hoping for a nice quiet relaxing hour since I haven't had a massage in a while. Instead my therapist, Michael, kept giving me unsolicited advice. Anytime I tried to kill the conversation by not responding, he'd say "so anyways...". And the conversation continued throughout the entire massage. Maybe I should've been like "hey I don't feel much like talking" but I felt like that would have been rude. Plus it was like he knew best about everything, I could never know more than him. Every suggestion he gave me was in the form of a question as if I was being quizzed and all my answers were wrong. It stressed me out. I like the front staff and while Michael was strong enough to really get some deep tissue, I probably will not book here again. I made the appointment Sunday morning and was able to get an hour session later that afternoon. They were friendly and greeted me immediately upon entry. He was awesome! I have a lot of pain in my shoulders and neck and he was able to work all of the knots out and he also gave me great suggestions to help with neck pain at home. I used to go to an Elements in Phoenix so I am familiar with the chains. They spend a lot of time trying to sell you on their wellness program (which I had and loved) but sometimes it is a little much. Carlos took amazing care of me and spent a lot of time trying to determine why I was having certain pain and customizing my massage. He did something no other therapist has ever done, he sampled out each type of pressure on me and asked what pressure I would like.
