AMAZING! By far, the BEST full body massage I have ever experienced…read more My appointment was very last minute, currently in last stages of packing for our move out of state in 6 days. My stress and pain level was at an all-time high. Two hours later I walked out feeling fantastic. All the aches and pains throughout my body were gone. All the pent up stress and tension was gone. And I sleep through the night for the first in over a month. Call them! Make an appointment! You will be glad you did.

No one here asked my name or offered their name so for the purpose of the review it will just be…read moreshe or they as I don't know anyone's names. I scheduled an appointment online with Blue Sky a few days prior to coming in. My appointment was for 1 pm, I arrived 5 mins before this and waited in the lobby. When someone came to the desk they seemed surprised I was there and asked if I had an appointment which I told them I did. They motioned for me to sign in on a tablet that had very little paperwork and pre - information spots available. Only thing I could do was pick areas to focus on and sign. Did not include anywhere for medical concerns or areas to avoid. The woman at the front desk was rushing me through this process as well. I was then told it would be a 20 min wait while leading me to the room. I agreed that was okay. She instructed me to go ahead and take off my clothes and wait on the massage table then left. I waited there on the table for 45 mins listening to very loud music that personally was not my taste and was not peaceful. After 45 mins someone finally came in and said sorry for the wait and put heated bags on my upper back and lower back and said it would be another 5 mins. 15 mins later (1 hr from my scheduled appointment time) the massage therapist came in - I do not know her name either. She asked me how long I wanted the massage and then as soon as she got started asked how it was but then no further interactions. The music during the massage was a little more soothing except for the fact that it kept skipping or getting turned on and off randomly. The massage itself was relaxing but it did feel very generic and was not tailored to any of my specific needs. When I was told it was done I noticed that my time was cut short by 10 mins. I was left alone to get changed and I went up front to pay. I was offered water when leaving which I appreciated. No offer was made to try and mitigate the long wait time and I paid full price for everything. I even tipped when paying for the massage and left cash tip for the massage therapist because I believe in doing so for any service work. It just would have been higher had I had an overall good experience which I unfortunately did not.

I wanted to check out this business based on other Yelp reviews. It's a small, nondescript…read morebuilding. It's clean and safe. They take walk-ins. In my head I thought I was getting Reflexology, but the sign with prices does say Foot Massage. There is a language issue, just make sure and point to what you are asking for- like 3 times, so you know what you'll pay. Then I just had to go with it- wasn't sure what would happen. They took us back right away! And after the 30 minutes they seem to offer more- like a massage for dessert? They are very friendly, smile, proper, and strong! This was a vigorous foot service. Our feet were placed in a warm water bath. Then I didn't know where she went- so quiet- then she was at the head of the reclined surface. Maybe she was praying before she began? She started with a temple massage, then neck and upper back. We were fully clothed. Then a towel across my eyes and onto the feet and calves, which all felt good. I'm not sure if I thought it was relaxing. It was good for my body, circulation, etc. It was worth $35- the prices seem very reasonable. It's not a luxury spa type place, but know their craft. The walk-in availability and reasonable price is a big draw for quality service when one has a need!

The Mrs was curious to try this place that offers a reflexology foot massage. So we stopped in…read morejust to get a feel for the place and see if it's somewhere she would like to try. Walking in we are greeted most enthusiastically by a lady who barely speaks English, so it started a little awkwardly with trying to get information. There is a board that shows $35 for a half hour foot massage. When we pointed to it I think we were negotiating...? Hahahaaaa!! Next thing you know we are both being walked back to a couple of side by side short sofas. There is a wicker basket to put your shoes and socks and pillows on the sofas for reclining. We both settled in as they brought out foot baths. These ladies are very courteous, polite and cheerful. They are enthusiastic about their work and do a good job. They put our feet in these baths to soak while they came around behind us and we got a neck and shoulder massage to start. Then they got to our feet and that massage was awesome. They weren't exactly delicate, but they were thorough and not rough. At the end of the massage they toweled off our legs (up to the knees) and feet and said we are done. Not very ceremonious either, but efficient. My feet feel great and I'm relaxed, considering we only went in to get some information and came out as clients. Yea, I would be tempted to go back with any muscle issues. If you want an aggressive muscle workout, I'm thinking this is your cup of tea. There is a large menu board on the wall in the office. It is easy enough to just point at what you want and you're in business. The place is clean and well kept. For the most part it looks like a lot of the rooms are cubbies with drapes, but the full body massage rooms have actual doors.

I've been getting massages for over 40 years, and I was really looking forward to a foot soak and…read moremassage at LaLumiere after reading the Yelp reviews. Unfortunately, the experience was terrible for the following reasons: 1. On the page under "Massage Enhancements - Epsom Foot Soak" the business promises an Epsom Foot Soak for new clients to enjoy while they fill out paperwork. I arrived 15m before my appointment and asked about the foot soak. The receptionist was not at the desk, so the question was posed to a massage therapist who showed up and said that the receptionist was preparing it. I was given paperwork to fill out which I did without the aforementioned foot soak. 2. When I was shown to the massage room, the foot bath was there, and I asked whether the 15m foot soak would be counted as part of my massage. The therapist, Anita, left the room for 10m (part of my massage time now) and came back to say that the foot soak would not be offered. Instead she said she would add on a paraffin treatment for my hands and feet. 3. The actual "deep tissue" massage was a lot of petting and short superficial strokes. She did identify and dig in deeper to sore glut muscles which helped relieve some tension, but it was not the deep tissue massage I had expected, and she did not address my primary concern (bursitis). 4. She ended the massage after 50 minutes (minus the time she left the room). 5. She never followed through with the promise of a paraffin treatment. Even though I was offered a discount, I left more stressed than I arrived. This is not the way to treat anyone. Never promise something you can't deliver.

Hands down one of the best massage experiences I've had, ever…read more From the sweet and helpful service when scheduling, to the day before reminder calls, to the warm welcome when you arrive, you enter a place where you can leave whatever is bothering you behind. I start relaxing by perusing and sampling the nice array of aromatherapy oils you have to choose from. (Lavender sandlewood is a favorite.) I turn down the wine service they offer, in favor of water or tea. I've seen Max now a few times, and he's great. Gets down to business, not too light, not too deep, comfortable working in quiet, responsive to requests and has a great energy to create and hold a space where you can just relax and let him do all the work. Whether I just need to relax and recenter, or if I'm coming in with certain complaints, I always leave in a much better state than I arrived, and the benefits don't usually fully roll around until the next day. And two words: HOT STONES. Yes, please!! Part of the regular service (not an add-on like at some places). The blankets on the tables are so soft and heavy, the bedding is in nice shape (so many places keep them until the are pilly, scratchy messes) and the environment is super serene and relaxing. This is a happy place!
