Where to start? Positives: The first floor/lobby looks nice and front desk staff is nice. Negatives: hotel rooms and the halls look tired, rundown, and not well cared for. Dirty! I think staff only collected the trash in the hall once in the mornings because I've never seen so much garbage pile up in a hotel. I only saw one cleaning person once during my whole stay, and it was the third morning of our stay. In addition, the pool was very still and looked like there was an oily film on it. I've never seen a pool look so dead. There was hair and lint all over the floor of the poolroom and the towel I grabbed had a pubic heart stuck to it. Breakfast was pathetic and there were flies all around the bagels. I do NOT recommend this place.

I generally enjoy Elements and aloft concept hotels from Marriott as a long time Platinum level. This particular property just recently had an experienced operator, (LTD properties) take over management. It is clear they have some catching up on the maintenance, but the location, the general facility is great. I was greeted very warmly (Shay is A+) and chatting with the GM (Frank) provided alot of great background on plans. Walking to dining options is easy, safe and fantastic options. Breakfast was scaled back due to being 2 days before Christmas (place was empty), but the setup indicates a solid offering at other times. Gym and pool are the best and largest I have seen at this class of hotel. Bathrooms are large enough for 2 to get ready in. Filtered water system at sink helps, the water in the area is .... interesting tasting. would be a solid 5 when maintenance catches up. I will definitely be back.

No one was at the front desk for long periods of time. They have one person do everything at the front desk, housekeeping, etc. they spray this nasty scented spray in the lobby, elevators and hallways. The smell of this spray was so offensive and unbearable we couldn't breathe. I think the use it to dissipate the smell of marijuana everywhere in the hotel. The cooktop was broken and taped back together. Very disappointed. Definitely not staying there again!

When I have tried to extend at other Hilton locations, I was not allowed to stay in the room unless it was available. So apparently this rule is not applied equally. They did get us a room on my requested floor after speaking with the manager and we had to wait for it to be cleaned. That night we went to the bar for a beverage. The bartender was most unpleasant with a frown on her face the whole time. My old-fashioned was subpar. The next morning when we got up and was going to fix coffee in the room. We discovered there was only tea and hot chocolate for the Keurig maker in the room. One of the lightbulbs was out in the shower. The ironing board was old would fall down if someone was not holding it. When we checked in, we requested a late checkout time yet at 11 o'clock on the day of checkout we had a housekeeping person knock on the door and we had to tell them we had a late checkout.

Did not get my room until an hour and a half later. Saw many others who were still waiting for their rooms despite arriving after 4pm. The hotel needs to do a much better job in getting the rooms ready for their guests. Some of us drive from long distances and want a place to rest as soon as possible.

Our check-in…read morewas less than smooth as we arrived at 2:30p on Saturday and when attempting to check in early as I'm 5 months pregnant and wanted to rest a bit, I was met with contempt and a reaction of "the rooms aren't ready, check back in within an hour." The front desk assistant was less than helpful and uninterested in my current state and there was no sense of urgency in assisting. We left and returned at 4p for check in and were met with a long line of customers attempting the check in, but rooms still weren't ready and the front desk staff couldn't be bothered to try and accommodate. A customer and a member of staff began quarreling over the lack of respect the staff was showing and the manager had to get involved. We then checked in and were placed at the top floor as the manager wanted to accommodate my pregnancy and rest with less noise and traffic, which I greatly appreciated. The room was sufficient in providing a kitchenette area, a desk, drawers, closet, and a comfy bed. The bathroom had no ventilation, making showering a very humid and gross. I did appreciate the cleaning staff as they were all friendly and quick to assist with anything needed. Also, the laundry and dryer services are featured as a commodity of your stay, so that was also nice to expedite laundry. There was a beautiful lake in the back of the hotel and a little duck family that was terribly friendly and cute. I appreciate the hotel looks after the ducks by leaving out food and water for the animals. Overall, I didn't appreciate the customer service staff as they were always lackluster in assistance and respect. The cleaning staff was great, but I'm unsure if my husband and I will stay there again.

The rates for this hotel would lead you to think the accommodations would match but that is false. We stayed at this location for three weeks and cut our visit short due to glaring issues. Specially, mold in the HVAC located in the room from a dirty filter that clearly hadn't been serviced in quite some time. When brought to the staffs attention, they stated after each visit, the filters are serviced. However, they couldn't deny the truth once confronted with the filter. This situation landed our toddler in the hospital since the mold in the air inflamed his respiratory system. The other issues we had are: Room Service ONLY ONCE a week- When paying $100 a night for an extended stay, this is unacceptable. They are already charging a pet fee and the cleaning they offer is subpar. We requested to borrow a mop and vacuum to do it ourselves since they don't offer ones in the rooms. The vacuum didn't work which questions what type of cleaning they actually do. We brought this up a copious amount of times and it was left unresolved by the management. Room accommodations are subpar- For the $100 rate, you get a studio and no where for an infant or toddler to sleep. On a positive note, the staff was friendly for the most part. The laundry room was spacious which is much needed. Overall, a poor experience at this hotel and would not recommend to any families looking at this location as an extended stay.

The tv was in an awkward position in the room as well as the toilet behind the door which was weird. The room had a nice balcony facing the courtyard yard but house keeping does clean it between occupants so all the leaves dropping on it are constantly tracked into the room. The sofa felt like sitting on a brick. The coffee was tasted horrible and the room didn't have a microwave. There was no microwave in the hotel at all. Finally there was four different taxes levied on both days: State sales tax $10.74, City Occupancy Tax $14.32, Sales Tax Other Room Tax $2.00 and Transient Occ Tax $1.79 added to the room charge of $179.00. Wow! You have to pay occupancy taxes for a building built to occupancy people! The system is messed up! Update: The hotel charged my credit card $20 a day for their canteen without telling me it also was not put the receipt. When I call customer service she said the amount would be credited back in 3-5 days. I told her that fee was not disclosed to me verbally or in writing and I considered it unauthorized and unacceptable. I'm making a complaint to corporate Marriott. Marriott hotels are not recommended!
