I live very close to this place and was excited to have so many services nearby. But I spent $250 on lashes and they fell out in a couple days and they still charged me to fix them, and then left me a voicemail cancelling any future appointments (like I would have went back anyways) saying it was due to disrespectful actions. Ummmm. I apologize if feedback is disrespectful. . I've had my lashes done many times in California and this area and I don't know where this lash girl got her many years of experience but the first suggestion I would give is please don't glue my eyes shut and priming the lashes first might b helpful just like you would before applying anything you want to stick . I decided to treat myself and purchase a Swedish Massage and Custom Facial Package. I easily booked online and was so excited for my treatments! When I arrived, the check in process was clean and easy, and I was greeted warmly. I only had to wait a few minutes in the waiting room before Marisa was ready for my massage. Marisa immediately asked if I was allergic to any scents and/or body products, which I truly appreciated. She then asked if I had any specific concerns or areas I wanted her to focus on. When I told her about my TMJ flare up, she was very responsive. My massage was amazing! She was truly knowledgeable, open to feedback, and made me feel relaxed. After my massage, I went on to my facial. This was my first time ever receiving a facial, so I was super excited for Kaylea to work her magic. However, it turned out to be a rather disappointing experience. First of all, the walls were so thin I could hear every conversation had throughout the building, which made it very hard to relax. Secondly, I thought a steamer would be used, but warm towels were used instead. When she asked me what type of face mask I wanted, I wasn't sure of my choices. The only choice she gave me was the hydrating mask, so that's the one I ended up going with due to my lack of knowledge. While the mask was on, she was on her phone right behind me. It was super awkward... I definitely wish they would leave the room while the mask is setting! My skin felt great afterward, but the entire experience was uncomfortable, and it was so hard to relax! Overall, I probably wouldn't return to Element Day Spa. I don't treat myself often, so I rather pick a spa that really is more relaxing. read more

It was obvious from the beginning that the owner knew what she wanted (I had services done before the move), and the owner is always in favor of getting reviews of her staff. I have had services from the owner and her staff, and I have never been disappointed. I recently moved to the area and I spent a lot of time searching for a salon/spa close by with a good reputation. Luckily, I found a place where I could get a facial, mani/pedi, and haircut all in one place! I called and was taken care of by a pleasant woman who made a few suggestions on times, and sequence, of my requested services (I was lucky enough to get them all done that same day!) The salon is brand new, with a modern industrial design. All of the equipment seems to be top of the line and very trendy. As far as cleanliness, it is very well kept and spotless. I was escorted to one of the cozy spa rooms for my facial. I requested a facial that focused on wrinkle prevention and relaxation. What I enjoyed most about this service was the exfoliation which significantly brightened my completion, along with the facial massage- It was so relaxing! The mani/pedi was well done and in a timely manner (see pictures). The haircut was done by a very friendly stylist. She cut and styled my hair well. This is a family owned business, and I try to support local businesses whenever I can. I suggest you do the same, if you are looking for a quality salon/spa in the area! read more

Just leaving Element Day Spa after receiving two treatments when I only booked one! It was my first visit and Emily, the aesthetician, gave as wonderful salt buff body treatment as I've ever had. Her style, technique, personality and demeanor lent itself to my pleasure. The experience was so lovely, I stayed and received a facial from her, too! This is a hidden gem. LexI was my masseuse and she was amazing. She spend time where tension was high and really worked out the toxins. Her deep tissue technique was just right as she advised me to alert her if the pressure was not enough or above an 8 to me. She was respectful and even answered my questions about reflexology even though that was not the current service. I recommend. read more

I was sore from gardening, and called a few different spas, and Element Day Spa was able to fit me in right away for an full body, hour massage. My massage therapist, Marissa, was wonderful. She made me feel very comfortable, and applied just the right amount of pressure. The atmosphere was relaxing--lighting, soft music, no outside noise and the pricing was competitive with other area spas. They sell many hair and skin treatments, and I bought a foot mask and a hair strengthening tonic--very happy with both, and am eager to try more products This massage was the best I've ever had, and I will return in the future. read more

So some time has passed since I visited this spa. I can say that I got a waxing and the girl definitely double dipped. In fact she used the same applicator to get wax from the large paint can sized vat for the entire procedure. She seemed skilled for the most part, the process wasn't really that painful and she talked the whole time which was a nice distraction. BUT upon getting home and further inspecting her work, I was left tweezing a large area that was left untouched as well as numerous strays that should have all been dealt with while I was on the table. The lotion I was given as a post-treatment was also about a year expired. I also got a haircut while here. Nothing special. The girl was terrified to take off the length I wanted so after 2 attempts to get her to take it shorter I walked out with a cut I was only somewhat satisfied with. The prices are high. My mom and I went here per request of a friend that swears by this place and am glad we did. We had Samantha and Stephanie and they were both wonderful. It was relaxing and we both left feeling refreshed. My only downside to this place was that I could hear a lot going on outside of the room. (People talking, using the microwave, people walking on the floor above) The prices were great and even better specials; an hour massage and an hour facial for $99! I also added hot bamboo which I've never had. I enjoyed it. Overall I would definitely go back to this place! read more

Had a groupon figured I'd try it. Talia was amazing. She had great pressure, really worked out the knots! The music was really low so it wasn't distracting. The salon is bright and clean. Made an appt for a pedicure! $25 special. Back for a pedicure, so nice. They use disposable tools and the don't use the cheese grater on your soles. They use a better quality polish so it lasts longer. read more

Not really impressed with my hair cut from here. First of all, most Aveda salons, give u free mini hand massage. This one did not, so I was a little disappointed. I am a big tipper esp if you give a great hair scrub and blow out, however this was not the case here. Liz, the massage therapist, asked me about my preferences, pressure level, made me feel completely comfortable throughout the entire appointment. Booked a manicure, not an express manicure and not a spa manicure, just a regular manicure. No water, no lotion. I couldn't believe it. The nails were nicely trimmed, but I never soaked my hands in water, nor was lotion applied. I still can't believe I paid $27. read more

I had a pedicure with Alyssa yesterday and want to say how displeased I am with the results. Cuticles not trimmed nicely, polish not taken off cleanly and new polish missed in some areas and new polish left on skin on others. When I mentioned it, she said she didn't see a problem It could be due to the fact that the bowl sits on the floor and her pedi chair and the little rolling bench for the customers feet that she was working from was not suited to her tall frame and she had to bend over so far that she created her own shadow on my feet (her work surface). Her supplies didn't seem adequate for a professional. On the plus side, the salon is clean and the staff pleasant and helpful. The speaker with spa music ever was in the table right next to the pedi chair and was too loud. The pedi area needs an upgrade in equipment. read more

I've been to Element Day Spa on several occasions for waxing services and I won't go anywhere else. The employees are so nice and welcoming and they know what they're doing. As soon as you step foot in their part of the building the ambiance is relaxing and soothing, everything is neat, clean and organized. I would definitely recommend them to my family and friends! While I love Element Day Spa for their waxing and other skin care services, I can't say the same for hair styling. I've never gotten my hair cut there before so the stylist and I had a long conversation about my hair, how I styled it and I said quite a few times throughout our conversation that I just wanted a trim but that's not what I got. I have baby-fine hair and the cut I received was not suited to my hair type at all, she cut my hair significantly shorter than just a trim and didn't blend the new short layers into the length of my hair. When I got home and checked it out further my first thought was I looked like Joan Jett. I didn't bring up my dissatisfaction with anyone at EDS because nothing could be done to fix it, it just had to grow out on its own. Despite the bad cut I did like all the Aveda products used on my hair and I will continue to go to Element Day Spa for other services. Lastly, take cash with you, they do not accept tips on credit/debit cards. read more

I was really excited about this spa, from the street it looks clean and fresh and well, I wanted it to be a little oasis of serenity...and unfortunately it just wasn't. When I first walked in I was greeted by a lovely girl who promptly checked me in, and showed me to the waiting area. The entry area is a big, wide open space with a small table of local jewelry and essential oils, and shelves filled with delightful Aveda spa products. The space seemed a little big, or empty, but I was still hopeful. When I arrived at the "waiting area" I realized that I was sharing my space with the shampoo chairs for the salon portion of the spa. There was a pile of magazines to browse through, and the greeter asked if I cared for some water while I waited. I opted to wait, but found it awkward as there was a woman literally an arms length away from me washing her own hair in the sink...it was just a little odd. The massage therapist was lovely, soft spoken, and pleasant, however, the massage was just underwhelming. I wanted it to be relaxing, therapeutic, and rejuvinating and unfortunately it wasn't. I don't know if it was the high ceilings or if the space is just waaaay too big to create a warm, cozy feeling. Also, the acoustics are clearly an issue because throughout my massage I could hear the music from the lobby as well as the voices of two other customers who came in while I was there. Again, the massage therapist was incredibly kind, and since I bought the massage via Groupon it made me feel a little less sad about the quality of the service, but I just wouldn't pay those prices again when there are so many other options in town for great quality massages. I hope this salon and spa can iron out some kinks because who doesn't love a good Aveda salon??? I want to love it here. But unfortunately I don't think I will return. read more

I'm a bit delayed in submitting this review. Booked a bridal party for 6 of us back in August 2014 to have various services the morning of my friend's wedding. These included manicures, pedicures and hair styling. I called around and researched quite a few places and was really pleased with the overall customer service and individual attention we received. Sara and her staff really did a fabulous job and made sure we got everything we needed. She was upfront about pricing and availability and assured me they could handle all that we needed to get done in the time frame we had. They even took on a last minute massage that we didn't pre-book and gave us lots of space to bring in food and hang out while we had our services. Our nails looked fabulous and our hair looked great! Thank you for all of the pampering and special attention. I highly recommend this place to other bridal parties. Prices are competitive and the staff really easy to work with, not to mention very friendly. read more

I've used multiple services (haircuts, massages, wedding hair up-do, full make up for wedding day) and have been thrilled with every experience!
