Had the worst experience here today, and I would not recommed this place to anyone. I just moved to…read morethe area, and I called a few days ago, spoke to Kathleen, mgr, about some services. A couple days later I called back and scheduled a 50 min swedish massge for $50. (which is listed online, they wont mention and did not mention it when I called in)
I saw Shelia. Shelia was really nice and I like that she evaulated my spine before she started the massge., but the massage was not good. When I checked out at the front desk, Bonnie, recept, asked me how everything was, I said fine and then proceeded to ask what other massage thearpist work here, becasue I wanted to come back and try someone else. Bonnie asked if everything was ok... I went on to inform her, that I've had better massages. The massage was just ok, i still felt tense and not relaxed. Shelia didn't "massage" me, she rubbed and then shook my skin a lot. It was strange. and not relaxing. I've had a ton of swedish massages in my life, and that was really dissapointing. Bonnie said that Jen, is really good and to try ner next time. Bonnie then went on to say that she's received complaints about Shelia in the past, and would like to offer me a free massage to come back and try Jen. I was really happy with that and agreeded. She then went to call Kathleen the manager to see if it was OK, she left a message. Bonnie then went to check me out and said it was $75. I said no, it was 50 min for $50, she said that Shelia... on her own.. "upgraded" me to a thearpuetic massage. I was NOT happy. Shelia never asked me if that was OK, she never even mentioned it and there was NOTHING theraputic about it. Bonnie changed the price back, but how Shelia changed it on her own, affected her tip. Bonnie then said she felt bad about everything and was going to try to call Kathleen one more time, I said OK, and apprecaite the effort to make it right. Bonnie got off the phone with Kathleen, and explained to me, that the kind of massage I was looking for might be a deep tissue, and to see Jen, and I would have to pay for it, it would not be complimentary. I was very upset. I've had all kind of massages in my life, and swedish is best for me, and i know the difference. I didnt receive any sort of massage at all today, it was rubbing my skin. I did NOT like the fact that Bonnie offered to make it right and offered me to come back and see Jen (which I was ready to schedule an appointment right then) and then Kathleen said no. What horrible client satisfaction. I also didnt like that Katlheen tried to tell Bonnie to tell me what other kind of massage to get, when I know what they all are and what works best for me. Basically, you have a bad massage theapist, who isnt giving proper masssages, not my fault, and should be retrained. People should be able to come into your facility and expect a MASSAGE regardless of what type or the price. Like I said, I just moved here, I was looking to establish business here and get a massage every two weeks, along with numerous facails. They lost out on a great client, lots of repeative business and great word of mouth, by how they all acted and how Kathleeen pointed the finger and wouldn't make it right by letting me see someone else, at no charge. I left there crying and will never return.
I called back about 20 mins after I left, spoke to Bonnie and said that I was very unhappy and wanted a COMPLETE refund for today. Bonnie, who was always very nice, said that she understoof but needed to get permission by Kathleen before inssuing me a refund, (the fornt desk had no decision making power here- at all) she then went on to say that after I left she called Kathleen back and said it wasn't right that she offered a complimenatry service, but Kathleen wouldn't. Bonnie said that Kathleen was going to call me, I declined. I said I've heard enough of what Kathleen had to say, and she really ticked me off. I still want a 100% refund. Not only didnt I not receive a decent massage, this place has horrible client satisfaction and it was a horrible client experience. I would not recommded this place to anyone. They had the opportuinty to make this right, and offered it...and I was willing to give accept that, but how they took it back, really put a sour taste in my mouth.
I received a refund, but I'll never go back.
