These people were prompt. Not only did they schedule me in within two days of when I called, but they also gave me a window of when they would come of only half an hour. Other glass fixing places will give a window of four hours and not even show up until an hour after the window has ended! Element Glass actually called me an hour and a half before me window was beginning and said they were ready to come over whenever I was. I was already home, so I said they could come over whenever. They finished repairing my windshield before the time they were even supposed to arrive. It was amazing. The zip code says they are far outside the perimeter, but they travel to anywhere in Atlanta within the perimeter, so don't let that discourage you. Their prices are extremely competitive. Between my dad and I, we called about 10 different places and Element had the lowest price by FAR. $60 cheaper than the nearest competitor. And finally, Joe, the guy that runs Element, does all the service himself and he is a master of his craft. I have always thought that mechanics were doctors for cars. Joe was amazing as i called his number early Saturday morning. He answered the phone and i explained i have a classic car that needs a front windshield replaced and a rear glass removed and re install with a new gasket. This being a 195 comet cyclone, you don't want just anyone touching your 52 year old stainless trim. He was careful to remove and re install the new glass and trim perfectly. After a bad experience with another glass installer I was very hesitant to try someone else expecting the same bad luck. After a few phone calls to several glass installers, Joe from Element Auto Glass quoted the best price and seemed the most personable. After scheduling the day and time of the install, he showed up right on time for the appointment. Also want to note that I called him on Thursday and he was able to get me in by that Sunday. Things I was most impressed with when it came to Joe's install. He reinstalled the front, rear, and quarter glass after I repainted my car. 1) He uses very high quality tools and material 2) He prepped everything very well to make sure the windshield seated properly. He shaved off all the old sealant and laid a nice even bead of new sealant before installing the glass 3) Very knowledgeable with what he is doing. Explained every step of the process and never rushed the job. I would never hesitate to use Joe again because he took care of my car as if it were his own and that is what I expect. I couldn't be happier that there is a glass installer that actually does things the right way and not cut corners. read more

I chose Element after seeing the great review they had on here, but I wish I had done some more research.... I know that eveyone has a bad day once in a while, so I gave Element the benefit of the doubt when they didn't show up at all for the first appointment I scheduled with them. Joe called the next day and gave me a new appointment time for the next day. Guess what? No Show Again!! The next day he finally came, but 2 hours past his appointment "window". Two weeks later my windshield still leaks. Not worth the money or time. It is worth the extra $10-20 to use another company. I am telling all my friends to steer clear of Element. read more

DO YOURSELF A HUGE FAVOR & READ THIS. I do not normally write negative reviews because I don't want to tarnish someone's reputation for a potentially rare minor occurence but this situation could not kept a secret from potential customers of Element Auto Glass. I give him 1 star for installing the front windshield but then promptly ripped it out for the following reason. I purchased a dealfind voucher for a $60 vouch off a new windshield installation from Element auto glass in the Atlanta area. I paid for the voucher which with the difference totals the cost of his service at $185. After the job was done, He stated he does not take deal find vouchers anymore because they were not reimbursing him (despite there not being a expiration date) & would call dealfind. Keep in mind that when I told him of Dealfind over the phone (the same guy, Joe) he did not tell me this. He calls some number (whose?) & in the conversation says "this isn't dealfind?". He wants me to look up the number for him. I start to comply by looking it up on my phone but I say very politely why don't you take my check for $125 plus the $60 voucher & email a bill once it's worked out with dealfind. At that point he said he would call the police & we can handle it that way. As I am holding my 19 month old & scared that he had escalated it to this level I said yes let's do that then. He must not have been serious about it because he proceeds to rip out my new windshield, give me my check, & took the voucher with him. There I sat with no windshield in my car but he did agree to give me my old one back. I had already paid dealfind & if they were truly reimbursing him he would get his normal rate plus extra from dealfind's reimbursement. To me it sounded like a scam which of course I did not voice that to him. I have now called Dealfind & they said they have a legal contract with his business & he was being reimbursed. I was told to contact his business but he is the owner. Abra Body and Glass on South Cobb Dr are very professional & will be cleaning up after this mess on the same day at only $7 more. Dealfind said they will reimburse me the cost of the voucher. If you are dealing with him without a voucher it may be smooth sailing but if anything happens which is not to his liking WATCH OUT. You can see what his temper & immaturity is like based on the above review. Element Auto Glass was recommended to us for an RV windshield replacement over 2500.00. They installed the glass and one of the windshields was not set correctly. I called and they came back out to fix it. This was over the winter so we were not always at the coach for this work. The owner told me he had it perfect and not problem. The window was not set right and the seal was popping up into the console. I contacted him again and he told me he is not in business anymore. He is not in the business of RV glass anymore- he told me it was too bad but he could not help me in anyway. Then he told me the glass never fit correctly and if I want to sue him or complain go ahead. Who does business this way. Why would he install glass that wasn't correct, what if it fell out which it is about to do and hurt someone? This is really bad business and I am shocked at his total disregard for our now hardship. Our insurance will not redo or replace this window and we have nothing to do but complain because he won't help us in any way. read more

Joe is absolutely great! He replaced my 2004 Toyota Solara front windshield within half hour at a very good price a few years back and had no problem since then. Yesterday, my 2013 Toyota Camry Hybrid front windshield got damaged on Hwy 400. I realized that I had to find him again. I don't remember his name or the company name but I do remember the great job he did with my old Solara, I googled for half hour and finally found him! Called him at 5:20pm yesterday and he showed up right on time today at my work place. He had to bring two windshields over as I was not sure if my car has rain sensor or not when I called. He replaced the windshield at no time and carefully put everything back on. My car looks like brand new again. Best of all, the price is unbelievable!!!!! Yes. I did my home work and know how much the other places quote. I did expect a better price since I am a returned customer. Yet, he beat my expectation. I am very happy. Joe runs a one man shop and very professional. He lives far from my work, but apparently, travelling across town is not a issue for him. I will definitely recommend him to all my friends and coworkers. read more
