No one made me aware of this until about 10:30 when i grabbed my purse and stood up to leave. No one offered me a bottle of water or anything. Once my appt started she applied a few nails on one hand then swapped out with another tech. (I believe the first tech was the owner & second was Michelle) Once she got settled and started everything went well. My finished product was nice. I would return to give them another chance and hope that the booking error was one off. I had to attend a graduation in another city, so getting a 50 min delay on an appt was VERY unfortunate.

The email also said to text/call Jezrell once arrived outside the building because all doors are locked. I arrived ten minutes early and texted Jezrell but she didn't answer. I figured she was busy with another client especially since I was early so I waited. I called 5 minutes after my appointment but again no answer. I ended up waiting 25 more minutes and I did not know how much longer I had to wait so I just left. I think I would have waited longer if someone had texted back giving me a time frame of when I can go in or if I didn't have to wait in my car in an empty parking lot. It was only after I left Jezrell texted me back and apologized. This was only my first time so I don't know if they are always like this. It might have just been my luck. But if this happen quite often I don't think it's fair to charge the customer a late fee for being only 5 minutes late. I do appreciate that Jezrell texted me back afterwards, apologized and offered to reschedule. But I'm going to try other places first before coming back to this one.

I want to commend this business for having such a wonderful staff of artists working there to make…read morecustomers feel taken care of and comfortable. Having said that, I did not go there for that experience and while it always helps, at the end of the day I went there to get my nails done. I had been referred to by a coworker and that combined with the reviews on Yelp were the motivating factor to choose Kiss My Nails over other competitors. I would have given this business 5 stars if it had not been for these three things: * They did not push my cuticles down (and to be honest I did not even realize this at first) I believe the nails would've looked nicer and neater had the cuticles been pushed and the excess skin trimmed off. * The shape of the nail is not natural, IMHO. You can see in one of the pictures how the actual nail is very flat and does not have a natural curve/dome in the middle. They could have shaped them and built up a little gel in that middle area to create an appealing curvature to the nail. * They left topcoat on and around and under my nails. You can barely see this in the picture, but that is because I cleaned up the dried up topcoat with acetone when I got home. Dried up topcoat on the skin is very uncomfortable. For the price I paid, I was expecting that at the very least. Having said all that, I would recommend the place and will probably go again with the constructive criticism I have listed here. If they correct the things I mention the second time, I would definitely consider making it my go-to nail salon, but that's not the case at the moment.
