We found a ring we liked while on vacation in Aruba and sent the owner a photo- she said she could make the same ring and save us some money- she was supposed to get back to us with a price but completely disappeared. When we followed up a few weeks later, an embarrassed long time employee apologized and asked us to give the owner another chance. We drove to the store (1 hour away), met with the owner and were promised a proposal which never came. We are unsure why a new owner would drop the ball twice, but assume our order was not big enough or profitable enough to warrant the high level of service this store promises. Very disappointed but thankful we did not place an order. Save yourself the time and just go somewhere else- there are a lot of other great jewelry stores very nearby.

I was surprised to learn the store is under new ownership, and I am so happy to be able to say that I LOVE the new owners. We wish Odie and his family well, and a happy retirement. The store has been left in great hands! I had the same level of "family business" personal treatment today that I have always received there. The store is just as immaculate as it always has been and has an even fresher feel to it. The items in the cases are still beautiful. Sara is still there as the store manager. Jasmine and her husband are the new owners. Jasmine's jewelry expertise and advice were invaluable, she took great care to acknowledge and address every one of our concerns, and had excellent suggestions we hadn't thought of. I felt the prices were very reasonable. I left knowing our prized possessions were left in safe and expert hands, and we have still a family-owned jewelry store to go to for years to come.

After seeing our faces again and again and after my husband and I expressing our dissatisfaction, three Zales store employees were more than willing to work with us until we were happy. Susan, Joan and Lillian were super helpful and we finally got the results we were looking for. We have since purchased 2 other pieces there ONLY because of the customer service these women provided. Zales has good jewelry but it is their employees that make the difference. If we hadn't been taken care of well we would have never been back.
