The stitching on a bra I purchased from Elegance less than three weeks ago and worn on a couple of occasions came away so that the underwire poked out. The thread on the stitching was hanging off, leaving the seam completely open. i.e. faulty production. I took this back to Trish, who refused to do anything to help on the basis that I had washed it in the machine once (in a lingerie wash bag on an appropriate delicates wash). I understood her point, that knowing this she was unable to return it to Panache itself as I had not followed the care instructions and she would therefore not be able to recoup her costs, but I was extremely disappointed with the total lack of understanding/one sidedness in the service I got having spent £29 on a bra. I have recently given Elegance £100 worth of my business, this bra was one of several purchases. It was very frustrating not to be given any form of assistance with what was clearly faulty stitching on the product and not the result of one delicates wash in a lingerie bag. I shall not be spending any more of my money at this shop due to the very poor level of customer service. read more
