For costume party props, obviously, get your mind out of the gutter. I go to a lot of costume parties. Anyway, Harmony has a great selection of all sorts of things from the sexual to the hen party fun times. They are also very reasonably priced. No one likes a rip-off sex shop, am I right? Usually I just have a quick peek at the stockings or some of the feathery accessories. Previous costumes have included 1920s, Halloween and burlesque, so it's perfect for that. But tonight I popped downstairs to check out the rest. They've a great selection of lingerie and corsets also, pretty decently priced and not trashy or tacky. Lots more toys downstairs, for girls and boys, as Santa would say. If he was a sexual deviant. And we don't know, maybe he is! None of it too scary looking so a great place for couples to come. So bunch of us after business dinner found this place by accident, we weren't sure what to expect, but this place is very boutique place rather than shady DVD store. As matter of fact, there were equal number of women / couples at this place. Is it the difference between UK and US, perhaps!? This shop looks very impressive from both the inside and the outside and its not sleazy at all, its mostly women and couples who shop here. I went in for some lingerie, but most of what they had to offer were teddys in boxes so you could only see a picture of it on the front and not what it actually looks like.Also a lot of their lingerie is small/medium/large so its quite hard to know what size you are. If your top half is bigger than yourbottom half its ridiculous because most of the lingerie comes as a set. This place has fun stuff like good games and books, which is better than An Summer's penis pasta! Its good if you just want to go in and buy some lingerie or an outfit as the hard core stuff is downstairs, such as porn and toys. Downstairs looks a bit sleazy though, unless you specifically want something I would stay upstairs. One thing I hate about this place is that the women who work here just stay at the till and don't offer to help. I went to pay for an item and the way this girl looked at me, it was like I was her worst enemy and she was texting under the till! After spending quite some time in store trying to get informations about a product no one seemed to know much about, I ended up buying it. Once home, I went online to find more information (its weigh in this case, which is the most important criteria considering its purpose). I was appalled at the awful customer reviews about this product: unsafe, unfit for this use, poor quality, visit to the doctors needed to remove it etc. Some customers also complained about the missing " velvet pouch " which is said to be included but is rarely: and I can confirm it isn't. I went back to the store explaining the situation and asked either for a refund or an exchange against the same type of product from an other brand. I understand how exchanging this type of product can be a problem for the store however this one is not safe and the velvet pouch is missing (I wonder if the pack was opened before...).Therefore, it should not be put back in store. Unfortunately my explanations and fear did not seem to move the person I talked to much. As I was send off, that person added that the store was "not responsible for its customers' safety". It's is all that needs to be said I believe. Don't go there if you care about your safety, because as kind as the staff can be, they obviously don't. read more
