LOVE!!! My washer wouldn't get up to speed to properly drain my clothes so I went in search of the…read morebest repair man on Yelp. I saw that Allen's had 5 stars so, I sent them a message this morning around 8 or 9 and the technician was at my house by noon. He ran every diagnostic he could and tested my washer to make sure it was working perfectly before he left. He spent maybe 30 minutes checking things out but ultimately, all it needed was to be re-leveled. One might think $89 service fee is a lot of money for a simple fix, but they offered to come back free of charge (other than parts, obviously) within 30 days, if my washer acts up again. In June, the owner, Krieg, came out to address a problem with our LG refrigerator/freezer's…read moreicemaker. He was assigned the job from my American Home Shiled warranty service. He ordered and installed a new upper left door that contained the ice maker. At about the same time he replaced the door, the light for our lower freezer compartment went out. Since it was full, we could not see where that light was coming from. As we slimmed down the freezer contents, we could not find a light bulb and discovered that it was controlled by the upper door that Krieg had replaced. I made at least 5 calls requesting Krieg call back and come out to set up that light for the freezer he overlooked when he was out. He never had the professional courtesy to return a call and correct what he messed up. My only alternative is to spend another $150 deductible with AHS and have another company come out. For a retiree, that is not worth it. No one should do business with an owner like Krieg, who treats customers that way.

It has been very frustrating dealing with this company. I purchased a part for my Viking range hood…read moreback in January, and because it was on backorder, the repair process has dragged on for almost four months. Unfortunately, communication throughout this experience has been very unclear. At one point, I was told the range hood would need to be repaired outside of the countertop area to avoid damaging the quartz counters during reinstallation. I repeatedly called to check on the status of the parts, only to later learn that one of the parts had actually been lost in the office and needed to be reordered, creating even more delays. On the morning of the scheduled service appointment (between 8:30-10:30 AM), the technician called and asked whether the hood had already been uninstalled. This was surprising because based on previous conversations with customer service, I believed the issue was reinstalling it safely, not removing it. I had already arranged for someone to help reinstall it because I understood they could not handle that portion due to insurance restrictions. It seems there are many aspects of the repair they will not handle, which means I now have to pay separately for someone to uninstall and reinstall the hood. At this point, I'm questioning what level of service I'm actually receiving beyond reconnecting the motherboard and components. I believe there are companies with more comprehensive service capabilities that could manage the entire project from start to finish. They are supposed to return once I coordinate timing with my handyman. I have voiced my concerns and hope this situation will finally be resolved soon. I will update my review once everything is completed.

Aug 10, repairman came, charged $149 to walk in door to look at fridge (no ice) and $130. Just to…read morewalk in door to look at oven. $270.00 just to walk in the door. Tech played with ice maker, said I have ice now. I did not have ice. At the same time he ordered a digital display for the clock at $423.00. It would be in next week. When he returned the 2nd time, still did not fix ice and part for oven still not there. Next time he was to come between 9-11, I was there from 8 to 1:30. He called about 2 hours after his window from my front door. Needless to say I was gone. I called Mr App. to cancel many times, they have only call3d me 1x to my 29. Getting runaround on refund because they want to deduct everything from it to give you less. Very poor customer service. So I am out $600 and still nothing from August 10, 2026. Very bad company. Do not recommend at all!!!
