During the phone consult, Jennifer said she charged $50 an hour to do a full clean of a 2 BR at move-out. Jennifer's phone manner was not very professional. She wouldn't have mentioned the total fee unless I'd asked how many hours would be needed. She then said the $50 was for 2 people for 3-3.5 hours. Neither time I called did she answer the phone with her name or with the name of her business. I was shocked when she called me after 2 hours and said they were done. Let me tell you how bad the place looked when I came back to my apartment to pay them. What makes this hard to understand is that I am a generally neat person and that the apartment was not very dirty to start with. Here is a partial list of what was wrong: 1. The stainless steel kitchen sink was badly etched. They said they'd used acid. I'd never needed anything stronger than Scrubbing Bubbles to clean it. See pics. 2. One BA sink was also etched from the acid. 3. The inside of the kitchen cupboards had not been cleaned. The few crumbs I missed were still there. 4. The entire stove and range had not been touched, including the drip pans, the range top, under the top, the oven, and the fan hood. They made a weak effort to clean the hood after I started inspecting the apartment. 5. The main BA floor had not been swept nor mopped. Since I rarely used the other BA and it wasn't dirty to start, I can only assume that one hadn't been done either. 6. Top of the fridge; inside the freezer. 7. Under the appliances. 8. I'd left 2 rolls of TP and a box of Kleenex in the main BA for the next renters. These had been placed--soaking wet--in the cabinet under the sink in the hope I wouldn't notice they'd been dropped in the toilet. 9. LR ceiling fan To be fair--I could tell they had vacuumed the carpet. That was about it. I cannot say strongly enough to not use this company.

The trucks tore up the yard with 8" ruts because of course, they just drive where-ever to get close to the house, Jim again saying he'd be back to repair but NOPE! This was the most regrettable choice I've made and i hope that this may save you some remorse. And he uses the cheapest materials available, cutting all corners and complained bitterly anytime I challenged him. Ultimately, you have choices - and you have every reason to expect to get what you've paid for. This ISN'T that. If this is your only option, modify the contract to partial payment and total upon SATISFACTORY COMPLETION. Otherwise Jim Muir will leave the promises in the past and you won't see him again... I had to hire another outfit to get the place presentable; Jim couldn't have cared less... I had issues with my insurance com- USAA- stating I only needed partial repairs, etc- not a whole roof replacement. Jim and another roofing con tractor both said I needed a new roof. Jim agreed to talk with USAA with me as USAA informed me the homeowner has to be involved in the call. , said he would have the roofer take pictures. When it came time ( after the new roof, soffets , etc were installed) to call USAA- Jim did not answer my texts, phone calls. He finally sent a text stating he tried to call the insurance company, and I have a substandard policy. That was the end of it. I had a male friend go up and look at my roof- "not the best roof job I've seen"..
