We enjoyed the pizza and Mac and cheese bites! Food was great! Drinks were good and service excellent there were plenty of shuffleboards to play, though we didn't partake

The DJ that played absolutely ate with throwback hip hop/rnb (00s-10s) and latin music. Vibes were so good here and the each hour is only $10 per person. Think shuffle meets Top Golf. Our server, Ryan, went above and beyond and made sure we had a great time. Everyone enjoyed the drinks they ordered and the games are arranged so that everyone gets a chance to compete against each other. We need one of these in LA!!

I came here to celebrate my birthday after my best friend recommended it (he came for New Year's and loved it) and wow... he was so right. I absolutely LOVED this place. The space is beautiful, the decor is on point and the overall vibe is just fun, they really put a lot on effort. We came for brunch and they gave us a private room for about 20 people (we were 15) which was perfect. The room even had 2 shuffleboard, so everyone was playing and having a great time, it definitely made the celebration feel extra special. For brunch, they offer two options: buzzy (with a bottle of champagne) or not buzzy (no alcohol). Both options include food like pizza, flatbreads, guacamole, French fries, and our absolute favorite: the crispy chicken with sweet maple with bacon on the side and a little spicy kick... SO good. I also ordered a cocktail on the side: The Spicy Lucy and it was delicious. Our server was amazing and handled a big group order with total professionalism. We loved her! Notes: Parking can be tricky, it was hard to find parking close by. Honestly, this place exceeded my expectations. I can't wait to come back and try more things. It's officially one of my favorite spots in Austin

Literally so much fun! I've walked/passed by Electric Shuffle a couple of times but never visited. I went on a Sunday with a group of friends and we had a blast! For a pre-set boozy brunch menu, the food was very delicious. I enjoyed the candied bacon the most but everyone in my party was obsessed with the beignets (also very good). I really enjoyed playing shuffle board. There are different competition games, keeping you entertained for the entire duration. The staff were so lovely and friendly! They really added to the overall experience. I will be back for fun future sunday!!

Not only does this location offer some of the most flavorful dishes (the Margherita pizza is a must), but the ambiance is also spectacular, and the staff is absolutely fantastic. They treat you with kindness and authenticity and make you feel completely comfortable. From the moment I stepped foot in this place, I've recommended it to all of my friends--and whenever they visit, they love it. I only wish there were better parking options in the area, but that's not their fault. Can't wait to keep coming back.

I came here for a work event when I was visiting Austin. It's a fun concept and nice for an activity. The shuffle board took a couple tries to get the hang of and then we figured it out. It was very fun and automated similar to bowling with a screen and score. The food was just mediocre and my drink was strong. I'd say it's worth a stop to try a new activity with a group.

Super cute and fun spot. I came here for a work happy hour event and really enjoyed it. Food was delicious - especially the boneless wings & truffle mac n cheese croquettes (addicting!)...The service was also wonderful. The shuffleboard itself was a ton of fun - very easy to switch games or add/remove players. It reminds me of a cross between playing pool ~ corn hole ~ air hockey (and curling? lol)...it's always 1v1 with the intent to slide your puck as close to the target (based on the type of game selected) while trying to knock your competitors' pucks off the board into the "gutter." An entertaining evening overall!

Call me old fashioned but I like a good game of shuffleboard! I thought this would be the perfect blend of the old and the new what with it being electronic and all, but the electric part of electric shuffleboard was having a lot of technical errors on our trip. The chips and dips platter was really good, and the drinks were delicious! However, it's kind of odd spacing since your food is on the opposite side of where you actually play the game. Everyone there was really friendly and helpful. The vibes were cutie, but I don't know if this was a repeat spot. Definitely worth a try just to experience electric shuffleboard if you haven't before though.

This is such a fun way to spend an evening in downtown Austin! The garlic truffle fries and Mac and cheese bites are AMAZING like a must try over here. We reserved in advance to be able to play and were there for a little over an hour and half. There's such a fun assortment of games to play and they go by quick so no one is waiting around. Highly recommend checking out this place if not for the games then the great decor!

    Lauren D.

Service with a shuffle! This place was amazing! We had so much fun and we got the $65 a person deal where you get unlimited food and drinks along with play! I will definitely be back! The ambiance was loud and super fun thanks to the DJ! The service gets full stars, Ryan was wonderful! We made reservations and were seated at our reservation time! Our server was really attentive and made great suggestions! I would come back again for his service alone! Thank you!

    Loni M.

I've been to Electric Shuffle twice now and all I can say is go! This probably the most fun I've ever had at brunch. They have different offerings but for the shuffleboard and brunch you pay one price($50) for family style food and your own champagne and your own section with a shuffleboard. What's not to love? They even have a dj who is amazing and the food is not the best you'll ever have but still good for what you get. The service is also amazing and very attentive. They were so nice to let us continue playing after our time was up because they didn't have another reservation after. The vibe is 10/10 and I definitely recommend!

My friends celebrated their birthday here and it was such a fun experience. We picked the weekend social all-inclusive package which includes 1.5 hours of shuffleboard, shareable food and drinks. This deal can't be beat. We had pizza, buffalo boneless wings, fries, hummus, chips, salsa and guacamole. Chelsie was our server and she was the best. I had been to a company event here last year and service left so much to be desired, so it was a nice surprise to have such an attentive server. My friend's birthday celebration was a huge success and I can't wait to do it all over again.

The venue itself has a lively, open feel with an urban backyard vibe and plenty of space to move around, mingle, and actually take in the installation without feeling crowded. What stood out most was how well the space complemented the event. The layout made it easy to engage with the installation while still enjoying the social vibe. They had space for working virtually as well as displays to test some of the technology. There's a nice balance between indoor comfort and that signature rooftop-style setting, which gives it a relaxed but elevated feel. The staff was friendly and kept things running smoothly, and the overall setup felt thoughtfully organized. Whether you were there to focus on the installation or just take it in casually, the environment supported both. The line was somewhat long to get into the event as it was at capacity and could only allow more people as people were leaving the event. I was given a drink ticket and got to try the Patio Pounder with ilegal mezcal, primo aperitivo, tropical citrus, coconut, grapefruit soda. The bartender was efficient even though the lines were long. The cocktail was enjoyable with the balance of smoky and citrus flavors. They also had a variety of food bites available including chips and queso. creamy street corn, and sliders. The food was gone relatively quickly due to the crowds but it would be replenished periodically. Overall, Upstairs at Caroline proved to be a solid venue for a creative SXSW event versatile, welcoming, and very on-brand for Austin's arts and tech scene.

No explanation other than claiming I looked drunk, which I very clearly wasn't. It felt very clear what was going on--he wanted me out of the way. I left and asked the bouncer on my way out if I seemed drunk. This was literally two minutes later. He said no, not at all, and asked me why I would even ask that. I then told him exactly what happened and asked him to let the owner or whoever was in charge know about this extremely unprofessional conduct so they can discipline the bartender. His response was that the bartender has discretion to cut anyone off, and let me know the bartender is supposedly married so he couldn't have been flirting with any of the customers. Well, sounds like his logic is flawed--not only COULD he flirt with his customers, he WAS, and was therefore cheating. I hope his wife finds out. This is perfectly representative of Austin customer service lately and not normal in other places. I was in Tampa for an entire month earlier this year and this would've been unthinkable there. I'm not coming back.

The actual bar is to the left of the entrance. I love that they have a variety of drink specials as well as nonalcoholic beverages. I was hoping to get a taste of the food, but the kitchen doesn't open until 4pm. I would also suggest coming later if you want to catch a show from the live band or explore their seasonal mazes. There's plenty of photo ops, jenga, corn hole, pool, foosball, connect four, pacman, and a few other arcade games. This place is completely filled with 80s, 90s, and early 2000s' nostalgia. It's the perfect spot of tourist and for native austinites. There also a lot of vintage signs from old stores and restaurants that were local to austin as well. I would say this spot is worth the hype! I also give bonus points for the shops & food trucks outside of the bar. The perfect place to hang out with friends and have some fun.

Really great assortment of old signs, like walking through the Neon museum in Vegas but filled with old Austin haunts. We took a bunch of pictures and really liked the layout of the place, we gotta come back at night, as I am sure its even better.

After exiting the elevator, I ended up meandering through what felt like the entire rooftop pool deck with rows and rows of seating, a beautifully laid-out space, and a huge outdoor area before finally reaching the actual bar on the other side of the building. Verdict: best pool, least impressive late-night drink options. The rooftop space itself is massive and gorgeous, with seating spread around fire features and plenty of room to roam. It's the kind of place that makes you want to book a stay just to have access to the pool and outdoor area. Drink-wise, though, the menu was very limited, and they didn't have any mocktails listed. I asked for "anything mocktail," and they brought me a virgin Lady Bird. It was mostly juice, but still tasty and refreshing for $8.

The couches were so comfortable and the ambiance was so pretty. In terms of the drinks and food, it was okay! Got the job done, but nothing to rave about. I enjoyed the sliders the most. I enjoyed my drink as well (5th Floor Cooldown) once we added the extra sweetener we requested. Without it, I wasn't a huge fan (wasn't sweet, despite being told that it was). Valet parking is only $15 (for 2 hours) with validation. I appreciated that, as it made parking not a headache.
