I called around 9, they had an opening at 1:30, and a couple hours later, my A/C was blowing 47F once again. It was a pleasure doing business with Jim, and instead of the usual mind-numbing boredom off a waiting room, I hung out and watched the work get done while shooting the breeze with him. He was more than happy to show me what potential problems he looks out for, gave me some useful tech tips, and when I asked for quotes on some more maintenance I'll be needing soon, he was upfront in letting me know that one of the jobs I need done is not their specialty, and referred me to another shop that he trusts. I trust his word 100%. They'll be the first on my list the next time I need any more repairs or maintenance. Highly recommended.

I've always hated going to automotive places because I know just enough to get me in trouble but not enough so that I don't get ripped off. At this place I actually feel like I'm being under-charged. My car is a 1969 Continental with suicide doors. My thumbprint will activate everything. All of the technology on this 1969 automobile will be state of the art. It will be called "The Preacher" and it will be very deceiving on the road. I'm already getting offers of $20,000 more than I paid for the vehicle! That's how cool this ride is. I visited this shop for the first time with a rattling sound in the front end of our minivan. Ron,…read morethe owner, said he would be happy to take a look at it right away and give me a quote. Since I don't know much about automotives, I figured I was going to be taken for a hefty bill. Ron took a look at my vehicle and within 30 mins had diagnosed the problem. The Sway Bar Link on the right side needed to be replaced. To have it replaced, it would cost me $98 (parts, labor, and tax included). Ron could have told me anything and potentially charged me my left kidney AND my first born. Yet, Ron was honest and very quick. I definitely trust him and his wife, Laurie the "treasurer", for all my future automotive repairs. Please give Ron a chance and you won't be disappointed. Hopefully this review helps others. Take care and God bless!!! Subsequent Review: I had a situation arise last summer where I needed to drive down to Carbondale for an important family event. Naturally, the check engine light comes on a day before our departure. I took it in immediately and explained my dilemma. Ron said he'd give it a quick look (despite being really busy). Shortly after lifting the van, he told me what the issue was. I told him there was no way to do the work at this time, due to both the finance of the repair and the time restriction. I asked Ron, "Would you feel safe driving your family 600+ miles on a 3 day getaway despite what you found?" He said, "It'll be fine! See me when you're ready and have a safe trip." We went on our 3 day getaway and got back safely without any issues. I believe his decision to encourage us to go on our trip speaks volumes about his knowledge of vehicles, his confidence in his evaluation, and their comfort of knowing I was coming back to them for the repair. While the repair was expensive, as automotive repairs can be, I am confident they gave me the best possible price they could (of course Laurie was able to help out with the price). More importantly, they are a Christian couple and I truly trust them!!! Hope this is helpful. Take care and God bless!!!
