Everyone was so kind, patient, welcoming, and genuinely cared about helping me. It's rare to come across people who go above and beyond to make customers feel valued and appreciated, but they absolutely did. Their professionalism, positive attitude, and kindness made such a difference, and I will definitely be returning and recommending them to others. Thank you for such an amazing experience. I came in today (5/6/26) valley location with my friend and my 10 year old son. One of the men behind the counter, not sure if he was owner or not but he asked if he could buy my son a pint of ice cream. I said yes of course and thanked him. My son was so surprised yet very thankful. I want this man to know this kind gesture and kindness meant more than he knows. Today wasn't just a normal day for us, today was the 2 year anniversary of my oldest sons passing. So that pint of ice cream was everything to my son and meant so much to him. Thank you sir for making our difficult day a little bit better and putting a huge smile on my little boys face.

Your store has a lot of items listed online for order, that can't even be found there... meaning I have to refund items, and in turn you lose sales. So some more product information updating would be useful. Aside from that gripe, I find great value and selection there.. and there is never any freshness issues like I have found at other local retailers especially among produce, bakery, meat, and dairy items! I had the pleasure of an extremely kind and efficient cashier "SUE" help me complete a rather large grocery order today.. And I wanted to mention she was so fast and friendly, she made more than my day.. she will keep me coming back there, just because she provides the customer care we all deserve!

Upon entering, I could see a couple of customers sitting at a table while the store attendant was making their meal. The seating area was clean. The store attendant was on the phone in the food prep area talking to a customer, and I was pleased to see him carefully was his hands, and put on new gloves before he returned to prep their food. Two days prior, I purchased a dozen ham sliders and a ham bone in anticipation of seasoning beans and soup. The sliders were delicious! They came with Hawaiian rolls, a pound of ham, Swiss cheese, and garlic butter on the side. I did not inspect the ham bone as it was frozen, and it was quite large. During transport to my home, I kept it in a cooler, and immediately placed it in my refrigerator upon arrival. Surprisingly, two days later I opened it up and saw indication the ham bone was old as it had begun to mold. I returned it to the store the next day, and they replaced the ham bone with a new ham! I was very pleased and delighted to see this level of service. I've eaten and purchased honey- baked ham all my life and this ham is perfect! Perfectly smoked and baked Not salty at all. Jim was the store attendant who handled my situation and I'm very grateful for his attention and service. He stood up to the brand name and delivered! I'll be back!

Sadly I was too slow to get all the good stuff like the mini pies from Birdie's and empanada from another vendor. Yes, I'm a creature of habit I drove all the way to Spokane for Islander stuff. HAPA served me a great heap of fried rice. After that, I checked out the crepes at crepecafesisters. It was thin and delicious & surprise I could actually afford it, if you're new like me try exploring this place, you get to meet lots of folks & enjoy the ambiance.
