Another thing to note is that the line for the register can get pretty long, even on a random Tuesday in May, just be prepared. The deals are definitely the best part! On my last visit I snagged an awesome 5x7 rug for $30. I saw the same rug at other places for at least double the price - score! You can always find some cheap clothes and shoes; more often than not you'll find designer brands for really low prices. They may be from last years line but who cares! They also have a great home section, everything you need for your living room, kitchen, etc.

Without it, the community would be left to shop at the constantly changing, yet always dwindling mall and large discount stores like Gabes and Walmart. This Kohls is easy to access, has a large parking lot, and is open late. The prices are reasonable, and you can accumulate discounts in the form of Kohls cash, woohoo! The staff here is usually pretty friendly, and the place is also kept fairly clean and organized, which is another bonus. I tend to shop for shoes here often. They have a great selection of sneakers, boots, and other shoes. When it comes to the clothing, every now and then I'll find something worth grabbing up. They also have a great selection of items for your home. Everything from kitchen specifics like silverware to curtains and bed spreads. I'll continue to do my shopping in Zanesville at either Kohls or TJ Maxx for sure!

It was Mother's Day and the one thing my mama wanted to do was browse through her favorite store. You can enter from the parking lot facing Maple Ave. or you can venture through the mall to the internal entrance... whichever floats your boat. The space is roughly the same size as the older location and it has everything any true maxxinista wants when visiting the store. It's also pretty clean and the staff was nice and friendly in every department. I especially loved the new carts. I absolutely hate walking through stores like this with a crappy cart. During this trip I found a beautiful pot in the home and garden section as well as a lovely tie die summer dress. I'll need to hem the dress but I couldn't pass it up for twenty bucks. Both items were reasonably priced, winning! This TJ Maxx has a great selection of designer handbags, perfume and hair and body products, shoes, clothing (women, men, and children), luggage, kitchenware, stuff for your bathroom, etc. I would certainly recommend you visit this store. In a city like Zanesville with limited shopping options, this is definitely a spot to check out if you're on the north end and needing to browse for a few things. The style of clothing they offer here isn't 100% my vibe but every now and then I find something I have to have. There's plenty of parking and it's located near other shopping options like Kohl's, Hobby lobby, Petsmart, etc. Heck, there's even a Starbucks nearby and it's only a few minutes from the Colony Square Mall.

Seriously, it's been there since at least 2002, which is when I moved to Zanesville as a teenager. Although, I am surprised it's still around. It's currently tucked between Bath and Body Works and TJ Maxx, directly across from the food court. The big windows and pink signage is easy to see. Just like in every Victoria Secret on the planet, it's very hard to miss... especially if you're looking for it. Once you walk through the wide entrance, you'll likely be greeted by someone folding underwear, lost in conversation with another employee. This is good if you want to be left alone to shop, but not so good when you're left standing at the checkout, trying to flag someone down so you can pay and be on your way. The store is kept relatively organized, but depending on the time of year, you may arrive to find it in shambles. Also, depending on what you're looking for, you may be able to find it easily or you may be out of luck. This place definitely doesn't have something for everyone and honestly... VS needs to get it together. You don't carry a size XL in your most basic af panties and your XL is comparable to everyone else's size M. I stopped buying bras here forever ago and if it wasn't for their super dope sales (like 10 pairs of underwear for $35, score!), I wouldn't be here at all. I'd really like to see VS step into 2019 by offering sizes for the everyday woman. Until then, I imagine this store will continue to stay put in the mall, but I doubt the experience gets any better.
