Drinks were good, felt safe..super convenient location if you're looking for a bar out south.

Who else will let you run a tab to order 75-cent draws? The overall feel is like being in somebody's basement rec room...if they have a juke box in said rec room filled with Tom Waits and Ramones stuff and smoke a lot of Basic Lights. It ain't fancy...I believe the lot is gravel, and it's the sort of place where the "top shelf" liquor might just be brown liquid in a clear bottle with a piece of masking tape marked "whiskey"...but it's sitting on the top shelf, eh? But who are we kidding, you're gonna get the Busch that's on tap, anyway and play some shuffleboard. Don't get yourself overserved (the KCPD metro south patrol division is just down the street), or, if you do, hang out and play with the Boston terrier for a while until you sober up.

The line dances at G&C are also very fast-faced so if you are new to line dancing, definitely go on a teaching day. Thirsty Bull is on the opposite side of the spectrum. The instructor at Thirsty Bull was awesome and all-around sweet dude. Unless they change the hours, line dancing lessons start Saturdays at 6:30pm. After all the 130 am bars close PMS is a popular place to finish the evening. It had a reputation for being a pretty rough bar. That changed a few years ago when a new owner purchased it, remodeled, put in an enclosed Deck for smokers and started bringing in bands. They also increased security and more staff. The bartenders are all very friendly and professional and have been with the bar for many years. The value is average for the area and the pool players a little above average. The Jukebox is well played and they do serve food. The food is always good and the bartenders make a fair drink. When heading out to PMS always Check the FB page to see what band or specials might be going on.
