For dinner we shared a wedge salad, their mashed potatoes, asparagus (a must!), and their tomahawk steak! Instead of doing three separate steaks we did the one and it was a perfect size for all of us to share! The steak was tender and well seasoned, mashed potatoes creamy, and the asparagus was prepared in a way we hadn't had before - highly recommend! We also had their dessert lemon meringue pie and coconut cream pie! Really really good! Wine options: amazing! Bourbon options: classy! We couldn't give it five stars for two main reason: 1. We made a reservation for 7pm, arrived and check in at 6:50 and still had to wait just over 30 minutes to be seated. We learned that walk-ins had been seated ahead of us so we needed to wait for some tables to leave before we could be seated. This was a bit surprising. We understand waiting a few minutes, but 30 min is not okay. 2. The sweet server assisting us for dinner was in training and we learned from her "trainer" that she wouldn't be getting any of the tips from our dinner. Additionally, the "trainer" came over around 830 to tell us that although it was only three of us that gratuity is automatically included. Very odd that we were told these things during our meal. The server being trained should absolutely get a portion of the tips - we hope restaurant management reconsiders their policy on this especially since we hardly saw her "trainer". We normally tip over the 20% but because the trainer didn't get any of our tips, we opted to not increase the tip that was automatically charged to us.
