I knew that there would be a few things that would likely need replaced soon due to having 200k miles. We made a list and purchased parts for everything that goes bad around this mileage. No problem at all and I absolutely love this purchase! This is an as-is dealership. In my opinion, if you're looking for a turn-key vehicle that's going to be perfect for you for years to come with zero maintenance required - go buy something brand new. I see a lot of reviews that seem to think Tom's is responsible for their used, high mileage, low-priced vehicle having issues. Do your own research and know the common issues the vehicle you're buying has at the mileage you're purchasing it at. Then decide if it's worth the cost to fix those things after purchasing. I had a great experience, it was so fast and easy.

I inspected the car in person literally all day. On The lift, driving and parked. ADM staff were very warm and helpful. Assisted me with various requests with a warm smile. I was taken back by his honesty and candor. I love my classic car and overall experience and would send anyone looking to purchase a Classic or Muscle car to American Dream machines to find their potential American Dream Car. We had a few vehicles in mind coming into this, but they didn't have as many of those options as we hoped. That turned out to be okay though! We were greeted by Marcel Williams as we arrived, and he was incredibly personable. He had a smile on his face and was immediately ready to help us get into a new vehicle the same day. Marcel was very open with us about how the entire process as well as what our options would be. We didn't feel pressured by him to get something we didn't want or to buy any additional coverage options. I'd definitely recommend talking with him if you're going to buy from this lot. There are quite a few options, vehicle-wise. Newer and a little older as well. Thankfully, we were able to find something that we liked that was comparable to what we were looking for. It's not something that we even thought of getting, but I'm glad it was an option. Coming into the lot, we were hopeful, but honestly didn't think that we'd be able to trade our car in for another one, since we didn't have a down payment and still owed on our car. Marcel and the team really worked wonders to get us into a newer vehicle with a reasonable monthly payment, which is so much more than we ever expected. He also explained all of the warranty/coverage options clearly and told us which one he would recommend not only as a salesman, but as someone who's been through a bad situation with his personal vehicle. Again, he didn't pressure us into going with a specific plan and gave us privacy to discuss anything we needed to before agreeing to an option. When it was time to sign all of the finalizing paperwork, we went and sat in with Jon Randleman. He was great, easy to work with, and explained everything clearly. Jon did a wonderful job explaining the details of the paperwork that we were signing and got us in and out pretty quickly. The whole process took about 3 hours, but that could be chalked up to us not being fully prepared for the purchase process. All in all, we will absolutely be recommending Marcel at Capitol City Motors to anyone looking to trade-in or buy another vehicle. Plus, he's just really easy to talk to and has such an upbeat attitude.

After we bought a 15 passenger van from them and drove it two hours home, the problems they agreed to pay fix were "too expensive for them", so they refused to pay for it, insisting we ship it back to them to fix it. That was not the agreement, and they refused to cancel the sale or work with us in any way. That left us without a car for a month, at a time when we desperately needed it after getting 4 new foster children. But they could care less, and both the owner and the salesman yelled at my wife and I. We tried to find solutions and with with them, but they seem to have no heart, compassion, or honesty.
