After removing the fried BREAD exterior, what appeared to be a massive chile... was kind of flat and small and pitiful. And the cheese filling was very minimal. So I was very disappointed. So the place has potential, but the chile relleno recipe needs a total redo. Also, the Jesus welcoming the Camp Mystic young girl campers picture in the entryway really rattled me. I know its intent was in the right place, but we were in town during the flood last year and our daughter was at another camp... and that picture was like a gut punch. I couldn't believe how powerfully it affected me. Brutal. Definitely rattled me for the entire visit.
