In my five days in town I are there three times and then this year I was there twice in as many days. Local food is delicious. Snail! Try the snails. Their meats are delicious as well and the pig's foot is dynamite. The table next to me had the seafood platter for two which looked exquisite. Wine list is short but thorough. Lengthy dessert list and everything looked great. Catalan Soufflé is particularly yum.

Bar none, this is the best place we have ever eaten at in our lives. This is no hyperbole. We made reservations for eight pm, and were seated immediately. the service at this place was unlike any we have experienced in Europe so far. The staff were friendly and helpful, yet unobtrusive. They gave us free, good-quality sangria, as well as a delicious tomato bread. The escargots were perfectly cooked, the grilled chicken was tender and flavorful, and all the food arrived in record time. We ordered, and it came in less than ten minutes. The desserts are also worth mentioning--I would particularly recommend the fresh cheesecake with blueberries, which was the lightest I've ever had. And to top it all off, they brought us a heirba liqueur and slices of cake. This place is a great value, the service was almost unreal, and the food was amazing. I went with family, but I would recommend it to anyone.
