The food was amazing here! I had the Mofongo with Mero, and let me tell you, it was delicious. The server Victor was funny and really charismatic. The puertorican vibe was definitely present at this restaurant. If you are looking for good Criollan food, definitely swing by this place.

First restaurant after landing in puerto rico. Over it was good. The steak and shrimp was flavorful and perfect with avocado. I did not like majority of the things on the appetizer plate but I enjoyed trying all of it!

Fish tacos were really good. I recommend this place. Everyone was so nice here. I dropped my shooter on the floor I had in my pocket and the busser let me know. Instead of grabbing it. Such great food! Fish tasted delicious.

La comida es riquísima pero falló fue el servicio. Los empleados estaban hablando entre ellos al vernos entrar nadie se movió.

Service fail today. Employees talking and nobody pay attention to us. No soup spoons available they said. Food was good. No napkins, no service after serving main food.

I came here because I didn't know where else to go and other reasons not going to expose. We were 3 on a Thursday night, parking lot was full, we had beer, beef chunks and fried chicken chunk with breadfruit tostones (tostones de pana). This "tostones" will never be compare to those in Restaurante Raices in Caguas, flavorwise and portion wise....big difference. Everything was ok, at least the beef chunk were good, not dried and if I come back is because I did not find anything else and do not want to drive far away for food unless it is Chinese fast food restaurant.

My wife and her friend visited this restaurant on their trip to Puerto Rico. My wife is very familiar with and loves PR food. This is her review: The staff is very friendly here! Our waitress was attentive and helpful in answering questions. The food was delicious!!! I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a nice meal out. (Parking can be sparse. We had to park in the lot across the street.)

Not a place you would typically find good seafood since it is not on the coast. But, this is a surprising exception to the rule. It is located in a shopping center which can make parking a bit challenging. The parking spots are smaller than usual. Once inside, you are warmly greeted by everyone. Even the patrons. It is the Puertorican way. I ordered water and their local beer, Medalla light. For lunch, I ordered the surullos, (fried corn meal sticks) for appetizer. They are 6 to an order and they come with mayo ketchup. These were disappointing because you can tell they were bough and not made in house. The meal was the octopus salad and the aranitas (little spiders). The aranitas are shredded plantain made into balls and fried. The octopus salad was huge, enough for 2 or even 3 people. Lots of flavor and fresh. The octopus was marinated to perfection and not rubbery at all. I hear it is marinating for hours. When talking to the waitress about how much I liked seafood, the table beside me must of overhead because the lady said "Young lady, I overheard you say you love seafood...well next time, order the stuffed lobster (she points at her husband's dish)" then she said "esta apoteosica" It means tremendous or divine. Ordered the café con leche and the tierrita de pistachio dessert. A delicious sweet ending to a perfect meal. The service is excellent. They treat you like family here!

It's just that you're basically getting food truck vibes and what is essentially street food for a nice, full service price point. The food is hearty- you don't need to order much to get full. Stick to what this place is good at, arepas. They load it to the max and their assortment of sauces are pretty impressive. One thing I gotta say though, $10 for an orange juice is egregious at any level. I could be at the four seasons in Bali and that would still make me raise my eyebrows. Even then I ordered it like a doof and it was like 3/4 ice!! C'mon yall, just take it off the menu if it's like that. Overall, the 24-hour aspect is nice and the food is decent. I can see myself paying a premium after a long night out, but just watch what you get because that bill can run up quick.

Reading through many of the unjustified negative comments, never seen a dirty table, there is no sign saying fast food , if they tell you they are short staffed put your American entitlement away and tell them in advance you want to split the bill.. it is not rocket science, it is decency. May I suggest as your social calendar is so obviously full, that McDonalds next door be more your thing for fast inedible garbage. Great place, nice staff, good location missing only one thing.. WIFI HOWEVER, having said all that good stuff previously, today I just watched a waitress on Sat 27 Dec at 1pm humiliate a client because he could not eat pork. It was disgusting, no help, no substitutions for allergy or other dietary restrictions, Attitude, rude and impatient, hands on her f*t hips scolding him for wanting something different. He felt like he had to apologize for his diet. .. Normally all the servers are great. She needs to go, I would fire her on the spot if I owned the cafe. After looking over the menu which was kind of pricey I decided to go with shrimp in creole sauce with rice and Parcha (passion fruit juice). While the servers were very nice the food did take awhile which was a little disappointing but the told us they're short staffed and there was a lot of customers. But we waited and I'm glad we did because this was the best creole shrimp I've ever had! The flavor, the taste, the way it was made perfecto! I was so happy with my meal and the jugo de chinola (passion fruit juice) was amazing even had pieces of pulp in it, which I'm a big passion fruit drinker and I've never had the seeds left in it or the pulp pieces and it was sooooooo good. I think everything was extremely delicious. Just the food did take awhile and the parking here is horrible, there's not much space and it gets packed quick. But if you're hungry after a long flight and want real Puerto Rican food, give it a go!
