I know it's a new place, but food was not good at all! We sat down and waiter thought we was waiting on other people and we wasn't. Drinks got ordered twice. Then when food came out it was cold. One order was no sour cream and of course tacos came out with sour cream. Sent them back and got same tacos back with sour cream on it they couldn't get wiped off. Don't go here unless you ready to get ripped off. Stopped here for quick drink before basketball game at Monmouth. Ordered a small frozen margarita, a small lime margarita, and a cherry coke. Didn't look at the menu as went to the bar side for only a drink. Received two small margaritas on the rocks but not enough time to re-order the frozen margarita. Asked for the bill before were done and it was $21!!! $8 each for the small margaritas and when I asked the waiter about it, he pointed to the menu that said medium. We didn't order medium and the glasses we got were definitely not a medium from my part of the world, mid-Missouri. Asked for the manager, he never came so we just paid the bill, no tip, and left. Also, the chips were stale and the salsa runny, so glad we didn't actually order from the menu. I doubt if we ever have a reason to return to Monmouth but I would NOT recommend this place. read more

We ordered a to go order of nachos and fried ice cream. It was about 15 minutes for pick up which was perfect. Although I don't recall them giving me a time that I could pick up. I just guessed and it was ready when I got there. I had the Santa Fe nachos. Very good taste. Enjoyed the nachos. They do not include any kind of plasticware or napkins in your order. We also ordered a fried ice cream dessert. The order was sitting next to the register when I arrived. Having an ice cream based dessert I would think they could have kept it at least refrigerated until the order was picked up. Not only that but my hot nachos were in the same bag placed underneath my ice cream dessert. Not the best idea, but I was willing to over look it. Then after we arrive home I open my dessert and it is literally only a small ball of ice cream with whip cream and syrup rolling around free in a styrofoam container. No small fried tortilla shell holding the ice cream as fried ice cream is suppose to be. Even their own description on their menu describes it like that. To get a dessert you paid $6.50 for and have it be just a ball of melting ice cream was very disappointing. read more

For a small town, this restaurant has great food, nice atmosphere, we like to eat there

I had dinner there a week ago and it was very good. Service was excellent and spot on. We were greeted when we arrived and seated immediately. The food was delicious and the portions were large. I am planning on going back again and look forward to trying other items on the menu. read more
